New career: Mausoleum

Download (PTO+CC)
SFS: http://www.simfileshare.net/folder/84038
This download exists out of 6 package files (PTO+CC), 2 translationfiles (descriptions+chancecards) and the overview in a pdf-file (spoiler)

If you have University
You will notice this career might be linked to some majors (look at the overview to see if and which ones) and that your sim might need a degree or not (not necessarly a degree in a major that the career is linked to. Any major would do).
If you don't have University, this career works as a normal career.
Also if you look with the Job Board or with another object mod for this career, the degree does not matter. You will always find the career for your sim.

If you have any questions, you can always ask!

Chance cards
A lot of requesters nearly never ask for chance cards. It's a lot of work writing these so I understand that, but I want to provide chance cards as well.
It's not needed to create a career and also MTS' rules say you don't have to write them.
I don't write the career myself, so I don't feel that it's up to me to write the chance cards as I don't know enough about the subject.
That's why I wrote general chance cards that can fit with nearly all careers for all levels.
It are ten different chancecards. All made for a general job. Sometimes it won't really fit, but it's the best I could do.
It's more something I do for me personally as I like having chance cards in my game.
As I understand some downloaders would think that these chance cards don't go with this career, I added 2 versions one with and one without chance cards (CC).
For both versions all PTO versions are made so there are 6 careers in total.
If you don't like the general chance cards, you can play the career without and if you want to write your own chance cards for this career, you can do that here: http://bit.ly/19UHWiQ

PTO versions
PTO7 by default.
PTO3 version.
PTO5 version.
These versions are available for the career with and without chance cards.

Download
All 6 careers have a different GUID so you can use them all together in game.

How to translate?

1. Is the career already translated into the language you want, because then your hard work would be in vain? Check it here: http://bit.ly/PS89j8
2. It's important that you just translate the English lines. (See the thread to know which descriptions and which levels belong together)

New Announcement: PDF-file overview careers

Past weekend I worked hard on uploading about 5 new careers and I noticed I mention the link with University, but nowhere I mention to which major the career has been linked to and wheter a degree is needed or not.
I do mention that on MTS uploads, but as not all careers have been uploaded on MTS and vice versa, I decided from now on (and hopefully I get the time to update past blogposts) to add a pdf-file in the download with the overview. The same overview that I hide behind a spoiler button on MTS.

New Food: Rainbow Cupcake

This was a request. It’s a rainbow cupcake with rainbow colored cake inside.

To make these I used the mesh and textures made by Exnem. As far as I now the site www.exnemsims.com is dead and the policy is nowhere to be found.
If anyone asks me to delete these, I will do so immediatly.

The cupcakes Exnem made are different from mine. Exnem's are available in the buy catalog and not made from scratch by the sim.
I cloned the layer cake in base game (6 cooking skill required) to make these. So a sim makes these from scratch.
It are exactly the same animations when baking a cake, only the result is different.

Screenshot

Download
SFS: http://www.simfileshare.net/folder/84038

Where and when to find it
It appears during lunch and dinner times.
It's found in the fridge under serve cupcake.../”Name of cupcake”
It requires 6 cooking skill as this has been cloned from "layer cake".
The sims eat this with a fork (it's all exactly the same as the layer cake).

Extra's
As this is cloned from layer cake there is a chance that your sims role a new want: "eating/preparing ... “Name of cupcake" like they role a want for the layer cake.

One issue
The plate won't be empty when the cupcake has been eaten. This is an error I can't help because I cloned this from the mesh Exnem made and I don't know how to change it.

Poly counts
Ingredients Tray is 722.
Prep State is 1,334.
Serving Size is 2,338.
Single Serve and Plate is 543.

FAQ
Can you create a food item for me?
Yes, I can. but just remember I don't create new meshes. So recoloring is possible.
It depends on which food it is (preferably Maxis’), but it's probably not a problem to clone and recolor it.
Just ask and I'll let you know if I can do it or not.

New Project: Realistic Ages 1 Sims Week = 1 Real Month

punkrockgoth1988 at modthesims asked for a different project realistic ages.
The lifespans are exactly the same as my PRA 1 sims day=1 real month, but now it is 1 sims week = 1 real month.
Meaning that every mod is multiplied by 7.

Screenshot:

Download:
S2I: https://simfileshare.net/folder/84038/
This is the complete project. Be sure to delete the mods of the EP's you do not have!

Ages Sims (no EP's needed):
Baby: Ages 0 – 1 (7*12*(1-0))= 84 Days
Toddlers: Ages 1 – 6 (7*12*(6-1))=420 Days
Children: Ages 6 – 13 (7*12*(13-6))=588 Days
Teens: Ages 13 – 19 (7*12*(19-13))=504 Days
Adults: Ages 19 – 65 (7*12*(65-19))=3864 Days
Elder: Ages +65
Total of baby to adult: 5460 days/12/7 = 65 years
Elder ("Between": the game choses this randomly):
Platinum aspiration: Between 95,42 and 87,92 years old
Gold aspiration: Between 86,67 and 79,17 years old
Green aspiration: Between 79,17 and 71,67 years old
No aspiration: Between 78,33 and 70,83 years old
Red aspiration: Between 65,83 and 73,33 years old

Skills (no EP's needed):
150 to 180 hours to gain a skillpoint
Very long, but your sims have really a lot of time.

University (UNI needed):
Sims stay in University for ten months. That's 5 months per semester.
Within this project that's 840 hours per semester.

Pregnancy (OFB needed):
Maxis' pregnancy duration (24 hours in a day):
First trimester (impregnation to first morth): 25 hours (1 day and 1 hour)
Second trimester (first morth to second morth): 25 hours (1 day and 1 hour)
Third trimester (second morth to birth: 25 hours (1 day and 1 hour)

Project Realistic Ages (1simsweek=1realmonth) pregnancy duration (24 hours in a day):
First trimester (impregnation to first morth): 350 hours
Second trimester (first morth to second morth): 770 hours
Third trimester (second morth to birth): 420 hours

This is because then your sims have morning sickness for 350 hours (I think that's long enough).
I like my pregnant sims to show their pregnant belly, but they still can go to work (although the game doesn't agree). Just send them to work on foot or by car or on foot as the carpool won't come anymore. The third stage is 420 hours. That's also not very long compared to the second stage, but that's because I think it's already long enough for the soms to walk around with such a big belly.
I understand some player will think otherwise about this than me. But as I created this by request and then share it, I feel it should be to the requester's liking.

Ages pets (Pets needed):
Kitten: 84 days (1 year)
Adult cat: 1092 days (about 13 years)
Puppy: 84 days (1 year)
Adult large dog: 840 days (about 10 years)
Adult small dog: 1008 days (about 12 years)
Elder cat and dog: 252 days (3 years)

Seasons (Seasons needed):
Every season lasts 21 days as there are 3 months (3*7 simsdays) in 1 season.
