New idea: Friends - The One Where Dr. Ramoray Dies - S2E18

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the six main characters of Friends in that certain episode. SPOILER

General happenings season 2:
The second season begins with Rachel waiting at the gate for Ross to declare her love for him. However, she discovers that he is dating Julie (Lauren Tom), someone he knew from graduate school. Rachel's attempts to tell Ross she likes him mirror his failed attempts in the first season, although the characters eventually begin a relationship. Joey gets cast in a part in a fictional version of the soap opera Days of Our Lives, but his character is killed off after conflicts with the show's writers, claiming that he writes many of his own lines. Chandler gets back with Janice, his ex-girlfriend from season one. Monica begins dating Richard (Tom Selleck), a recently divorced family friend and 21 years her senior. In the season finale, they end their relationship when they realize that unlike Monica, Richard does not want children.

The One Where Dr. Ramoray Dies - S2E18
Chandler's roommate, Eddie, begins to show signs of instability: He's obsessed with his ex-girlfriend; he accuses Chandler of sleeping with her, and of killing his fish. Richard wonders how many men Monica's been with, after Phoebe announces that it's been "a lot." This leads Ross and Rachel to a similar discussion. Monica has Richard sleep over on the same night that Rachel has Ross sleep over. Unfortunately, there's only one condom in the apartment. Joey's claim in Soap Opera Digest that he writes a lot of his own lines angers the show's writer, who decides to have Dr. Ramoray fall down an elevator shaft.

Joey: He's in Soap Opera Digest. He told in the interview he writes a lot of his own lines. The writers are mad about this and Dr. Ramoray dies in the next episode by falling down an elevatorshaft.

Chandler: He tries to get to know his new roommate Eddie. They talk about their ex-girlfriends. It turns out Eddie is a bit nuts since his last girlfriend Tilly broke up with him. Tilly comes over to bring his tank and Eddie thinks Chandler slept with her and killed his fish. Eddie terrorises Chandler ever since.

Ross: He can't let go what Rachel said about Paulo.

Rachel: She and Ross also start talking about their magic number. Rachel has been with: Billy Dreskin, Pete Carney, Barry and Paulo. With Paulo it was barely a relationship. It was just meaningless and animal.

Monica: She invies Richard to her apartment to sleepover. They talk about their magic number.

Phoebe: Nothing special happens to her.
