New Idea: Friends - The One With The Sonogram At The End - S1E2

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the six main characters of Friends in that certain episode. SPOILER

General happenings season 1:
The first season introduces the six main characters: Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross. Rachel arrives at Central Perk after running away from her wedding to her fiancé Barry and moves into her friend from high school's (Monica’s) apartment with her. Ross, who has had a crush on Rachel since the two of them were in high school, constantly attempts to tell her how he feels about her. However, many obstacles stand in his way, such as the fact that he is expecting a baby with his lesbian ex-wife, Carol. Joey is shown to be a bachelor and struggling actor, while Phoebe works as a masseuse and portrays a sort of "crazy" attribute to her personality based on her troubles as a child after her mother committed suicide. However the rest of the group loves her regardless. Chandler breaks up with girlfriend Janice, who frequently returns in later seasons. At the end of the season, Chandler accidentally reveals that Ross loves Rachel, who realizes that she feels the same way. The season ends with Rachel waiting at the airport for Ross’ arrival from a trip.

The One With The Sonogram At The End - S1E2
Ross finds out his ex-wife (Carol) is pregnant, and he has to attend the sonogram along with Carol's lesbian life-partner, Susan. Ugly Naked Guy gets a thigh-master. Ross and Monica's parents come for dinner, which stresses Monica out. Ross and Rachel console each other. Rachel returns the ring to Barry, who is much less upset about the break-up than expected.

Joey:
He has seven sisters. But nothing much happens with Joey in this episode.

Chandler:
He is an only child. He had a imaginary friend which his parents actually prefered.

Ross:
He's working in the museum when his ex-wife, Carol Willick, comes over to tell she's pregnant. She leaves it up to him how much he wants to be involved in that.
He decides to go to the sonogram. Susan Bunch is there too.

Rachel:
She has to return her engagementring, but she lost it. It's in the lasagna Monica made for her parents.
When she does return it to Barry (an orthodontist) she finds out he went on their honeymoon anyway with her made of honour and best friend Mindy. So he doesn't care much about the break with Rachel.

Monica:
Her parents come over and she's really nervous. She becomes very chaotic. They always pick at her while her brother Ross is the prince and can do no wrong. She made a lasagna which her dad loves, but instead they eat spaghetti ('Oh, that's easy') because Rachel lost her ring in the lasagna.

Phoebe:
She has a twin, but they don't like or speak to eachother since they left the womb of their mother.
