New Announcement: Taking Some Time Off

For the next two weeks I have time off from work, but lately I have very very little time to create. Now with these two weeks I'll have some more time, but it becomes harder and harder to be able to post on my blog every day. That's why there was some time in 2019 that I didn't publish new posts/creations all that much.

Therefor I decided to change this in 2020:
I am going to base it on the days that children don't need to go to school (in Belgium, Flanders). So that means that I will make new posts for weekends and during school holidays and days off.

I will take a break from now till New Years, but from 2020-01-01 onwards I will do it like I said above.

Don't worry, I still have my phone with me all the time to check messages (you can use the messengerwindow on my blog to reach me), tweet some things and be on Facebook, but I won't publish creations as much as I did before on my blog. I will however post on Facebook in the group =The Sims 2= about all fun stuff of The Sims 2:

New Videotutorial: Skills Adjustor

The InSimenator is a cheat object that is largely built around the testingcheatsenabled cheat, such as the ability to make Sims selectable and unselectable, making them pregnant with anyone in the neighborhood, seeing their gender preference, summoning them, killing them, setting relationships, etc. The cheat appears as an object, and is basically a way to access many of the functions of testingcheatsenabled without having to use cheat codes.

The InSimenator can be used to resurrect a dead Sim without having University, FreeTime, or Apartment Life installed. It can be used to age a child townie into a teen without having FreeTime installed. It can also be used to set relationships, summon Sims to a lot, promote and delete, make a Sim richer or poorer, etc.  The InSimenator has many separate objects known as "sectionals", most of which have options that are not available on the full InSimenator machine. The InSimenator machine and "sectionals" appear in the Electronics -> All menu in Buy Mode; they are not in any sub-category. The "sectionals" are free, though the full InSimenator machine costs §1.

New Terrain: Kansas - USA Project

This terrain is based on the state Kansas - USA. I can't make the terrain and neighbourhood exactly how it is as TS2 doesn't allow diagonal roads and is limited in space that can be used, but I try to make it look like the state as much as possible. You don't need anything to use this neighbourhood. But don't put it in your downloadfolder. You should put the .sc4 file and pictures in the folder EA Games/ The Sims 2/ SC4Terrains Download @ SFS

New Idea: TBBT - The Middle-Earth Paradigm - S1E06

After being a (crazy) Friends-fan for nearly 2 decades I started to like The Big Bang Theory too (maybe because the end of the series has been announced). Anyway I want to do for The Big Bang Theory what I did for Friends. I don't know the episodes of The Big Bang Theory (TBBT) as by heart as I know Friends-episodes, but I am planning to also create careers, food,... from the show as I am doing/ did for Friends. In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of The Big Bang Theory in that certain episode. SPOILER You can then play this in the game as you wish. General happenings season 1: The lives of physicists Dr. Leonard Hofstadter and Dr. Sheldon Cooper are shaken up when an attractive young aspiring actress from Omaha, Nebraska named Penny moves into the apartment across the hall from theirs. Leonard begins to become hopelessly enamored of Penny, while she feels only platonic affection for him; as a result, she finds herself putting up with his closest and ever-present friends: his roommate, Sheldon, who appears borderline obsessive-compulsive; engineering whiz Howard Wolowitz, a desperately sex-crazed mama's boy who thinks that his 1960s-style clothing and hairstyle give him an air of cool hipness; and Dr. Rajesh "Raj" Koothrappali, who will not speak to her as he is too shy to talk to women (a case of selective mutism), unless intoxicated in which case he becomes a smooth talking yet highly overly aggressive womanizing flirt. During Season One, Sheldon loses his job for insulting his new boss, finds his ego bruised by a child prodigy, becomes unable to bear being part of a lie that Leonard has told, and is always attacking the world with a relentless need to assert his supremacy. Rajesh first learns that he can talk to women, but only when he is drunk, and Penny and Leonard finally go out in the season finale. It is so far the only season not to feature John Ross Bowie as the recurring character Barry Kripke and Kevin Sussman as Stuart Bloom. The Middle-Earth Paradigm - S1E06 Penny invites the guys to her Halloween party. They at first decline as they do not dance, but accept when costumes are mentioned. At the party they have problems socializing: Sheldon is unable to explain his Doppler effect costume since none of Penny's friends are physicists or smart enough to understand it; Raj (dressed as Thor) cannot speak to women; Howard as Robin Hood is mistaken for Peter Pan; and Leonard (dressed as Frodo Baggins from The Lord of the Rings) is insecure. Penny's ex-boyfriend Kurt(underdressed as a very tall, muscular caveman) later shows up and aggressively confronts Leonard, causing him (and later Penny) to leave. Penny goes to check on Leonard and apologizes for Kurt's behavior. She is very upset, but Leonard tells her she is perfect, and they kiss, though Penny confesses she is drunk. They kiss again, in sight of Kurt, Leonard saying "That's how we roll at the Shire!" before locking his apartment door in panic. Meanwhile, Howard cannot find Raj, who is at home sleeping with a girl who finds him to be a "very good listener". Sheldon He goes to the Halloweenparty as the dopplereffect, but gets frustrated because everyone thinks he is a zebra and they don't understand what the dopplereffect is. Leonard Penny asks them to come to her Halloween party but they all choose The Flash as a costume. He then dresses like Frodo. But he's mostly worried about what Penny's friends will think of him in front of Penny. He asks Sheldon not to embarass him. He wants to mingle in Penny's social group with Sheldon as a wingman. Then Penny's ex-boyfriend shows up. Leonard goes to talk to him. It nearly ends up in a fight and Leonard and Sheldon leave, leaving Penny upset with Kurt. Penny The party starts at 7pm, but the guys don't understand that normally no one shows up at 7pm. (Though they were there at 7.05pm.) Sheldon asks her about the costume parade and when the judge will give their price for best costume. Sheldon doesn't like her answer. Though she's drunk, she's checking on Leonard after he leaves the party. He consults her for feeling bad and they kiss. But they realise it's only because she's drunk and mad at Kurt. Howard They just sit in the coach, but then Howard's making a move to a sexy nurse using the mirrotechnique. But it's not working. Rajesh He's goes as Thor and despite him not being able to talk to girls he ends up with a girl in his bed as he is a good listener.

If you have University You will notice this career might be linked to some majors (look at the overview to see if and which ones) and that your sim might need a degree or not (not necessarly a degree in a major that the career is linked to. Any major would do). If you don't have University, this career works as a normal career. Also if you look with the Job Board or with another object mod for this career, the degree does not matter. You will always find the career for your sim. If you have any questions, you can always ask! PTO versions PTO7 by default. PTO3 version. PTO5 version. A day off "Because it's Sunday. It's God's day"

Lately there are some things going on in real life. Therefor in my blogplanning I wanted to take a day off on the Sundays that aren't planned yet. Like today. There will be a new blogpost tomorrow, but I think it's time to let you all know I want to slow it down a little.

New Teen Career: BSO Allround Administration Manager - The School Project

I updated the package file so that the skillpoints needed are less than before. This because when choosing BSO there's no intention of going to college. It's possible, but it will be harder. Both packagefile and overview have been changed accordingly. This is not so much a teen career. It's a new school system. You can compare it to the 7 years of Hogwarts I made as 7 teen careers. But now the teens don't attend Hogwarts. They attend the Belgian School System. I explain everything about this School system in this post: https://s2idownloads.blogspot.com/2018/01/new-idea-school-project.html Keep in mind - Teens need to change to the "Vacation" school type found here: http://s2idownloads.blogspot.be/2013/12/new-school-boarding-school-vacation.html - Though teens don't go to regular school and don't make homework, they need to work very hard on their skills. - If you use another school type (like my school in shifts), teens can still go to school. - This is very interesting if you want your sims to go to college, but even when they don't go to college it's good to follow this school system to have some skills already when they start a career. - There's an upgrade for every career suiting the field of study the sim chose. E.g.: Field of study Economics-Math has the upgrade Economy - These careers will all have PTO3 so teens have enough time to work on their skills. - This career asks really a lot of skills from your teen sims. It's best to already have some skill points that are needed for this career.

New Idea: Depressed Trait

I know traits are not possible in TS2 as they are in TS4, but with some workarounds everything is possible in these games. So this is a new trait for your sims. There are some traits available for TS2 through a mod found here: https://hexagonal-bipyramid.tumblr.com/traitsProject

In The Sims 2 You need insiminator (or something like that) for this to work Energy, Fun and Social will decay faster and will be harder to build up again (insiminator motive adjustor) Creativity is build much faster (insiminator skills adjustor) Body and charisma are harder to build up (insiminator skills adjustor) Relationships are harder to build (insiminator social adjustor) There should be a fear forfilled every 7 simdays.
