New Idea: TBBT - The Tangerine Factor - S1E17

After being a (crazy) Friends-fan for nearly 2 decades I started to like The Big Bang Theory too (maybe because the end of the series has been announced). Anyway I want to do for The Big Bang Theory what I did for Friends.

I don't know the episodes of The Big Bang Theory (TBBT) as by heart as I know Friends-episodes, but I am planning to also create careers, food,... from the show as I am doing/ did for Friends.

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of The Big Bang Theory in that certain episode. SPOILER
You can then play this in the game as you wish.

General happenings season 2:
Season two begins to deal with character development, including Sheldon becoming more and more obsessive. Leonard and Penny's relationship takes a turn for the worse when they break up, but this is quickly resolved. Soon their relationship progresses into a stronger friendship than before, while Sheldon and Penny's friendship slowly begins. In the season finale Penny hints at her true feelings for Leonard. Howard's character remains similar to that of season one in his attempts to seduce women, managing to start a short-lived sexual relationship with Leslie Winkle in the second half of the season. Meanwhile, Rajesh manages to briefly apologize to Penny for what he did in "The Griffin Equivalency" without having consumed alcohol. Barry Kripke played by John Ross Bowie makes his first appearance In the series starting with this season, He first appears in "The Killer Robot Instability".

The Tangerine Factor - S1E17
Penny furiously breaks up with Mike after he posts details of their sex life on his blog, while Sheldon, determined to prove that the Chinese restaurant uses oranges instead of tangerines in their "Tangerine chicken", asks Howard to teach him Mandarin. When Penny laments her choice of men, Leonard awkwardly asks her out. After a few days, both worry that this relationship could ruin their friendship, and each seeks Sheldon's advice. Sheldon uses the "Schrödinger's cat" thought experiment to explain that the date has both "good" and "bad" possible outcomes, and the only way to determine which outcome is to go on the date. When Leonard arrives to pick up Penny, he mentions the thought experiment and kisses her passionately. She concludes that "the cat is alive" and they leave for dinner. Leonard and Penny go to the Chinese restaurant, but they leave before entering on seeing Sheldon arguing with the owner in Mandarin, and doing it very badly, disturbing the patrons.

Sheldon

He wants to learn Tangerine to complain about the chicken.

Leonard

He wants to comfort Penny because he is her friend. When Penny is crying over Mike having moved on he asks her to go out with him. To his amazing she says yes to the date, but he is really nervous. Sheldon's advice is Shrödinger's cat. So he kisses Penny and she answers "The cat is alive."

Penny

She broke up with her boyfriend because he wrote about their sexlife on his blog. It's written in the blog she likes to do it in public places. Leonards comforting has the opposite effect. She never gave Mike the chance to explain. She's going over to him. But Mike already had another girlfriend by that time. She doesn't want to go out with machos anymore. She wants a nice honest guy. She asks Sheldon for advice and he explains Shrödinger's cat to her.

Howard

He teaches Sheldon how to speak Mandarine until he has a blog to find.

Rajesh

Nothing much happens to him.
