When an object is broken, instead of calling the repairman, your sim can call another sim in town.
If they have a bad relationship, so the sim doesn't want to come, you can summon the hood repairsim with the summoner of the insiminator. When the repairsim is on your lot, you can make him/her selectable with the insiminator.
Let the sim repair the object and pay him/her with a check, wallet,...
