General happenings season 2:
The second season begins with Rachel waiting at the gate for Ross to declare her love for him. However, she discovers that he is dating Julie (Lauren Tom), someone he knew from graduate school. Rachel's attempts to tell Ross she likes him mirror his failed attempts in the first season, although the characters eventually begin a relationship. Joey gets cast in a part in a fictional version of the soap opera Days of Our Lives, but his character is killed off after conflicts with the show's writers, claiming that he writes many of his own lines. Chandler gets back with Janice, his ex-girlfriend from season one. Monica begins dating Richard (Tom Selleck), a recently divorced family friend and 21 years her senior. In the season finale, they end their relationship when they realize that unlike Monica, Richard does not want children.
The One Where Eddie Moves In - S2E17
Joey shows his friends his new apartment, which (unfortunately) he decorated himself. A record producers signs Phoebe to make a video of Smelly Cat, but dubs in someone else's voice. Monica is annoyed that Ross is around so much; they fight like typical siblings. Chandler and Joey miss each other, but neither one will admit it. Chandler gets a new roommate, Eddie, who seems like a great guy. Joey is jealous, and he and Chandler fight like a typical couple. Chandler finds out that he does really have that much in common with Eddie after all.
Joey: He decorates his apartment with porcelain animals. He has a phone in his bathroom. He's a bit lonely so and wants to go back, but Chandler has a new roommate. He and Chandler have a fight again because Chandler likes the eggs Eddie makes. Joey makes them on bread. They have a fight over the new eggs.
Chandler: He doesn't go to Joey's the first time the friends go to Joey's new casa. He is still sad because of Joey moving out. He calls him and they watch Baywatch together (the oventimer indicates it's time for Baywatch). He gets a new roommate, Eddie.
They don't get a long really well. Eddie doens't play foosball and doesn't watch Baywatch.
Ross: He's at Monica's all the time and drives her crazy.
Rachel: Nothing special happens.
Monica: She has a fight with Ross because he's in the apartment all the time. He uses the bathroom over an hour. He wants to watch Predators of the Serengeti while Monica wants to watch Entertainment Tonight. He drives her crazy.
Phoebe: She can do a single (Smelly Cat) for a producer and she wants to do a video and if all goes well they even want to do an album. But it appears that it's not Phoebe singing in the video.

New idea: Friends - The One Where Joey Moves Out - S2E16
In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the six main characters of Friends in that certain episode. SPOILER

The second season begins with Rachel waiting at the gate for Ross to declare her love for him. However, she discovers that he is dating Julie (Lauren Tom), someone he knew from graduate school. Rachel's attempts to tell Ross she likes him mirror his failed attempts in the first season, although the characters eventually begin a relationship. Joey gets cast in a part in a fictional version of the soap opera Days of Our Lives, but his character is killed off after conflicts with the show's writers, claiming that he writes many of his own lines. Chandler gets back with Janice, his ex-girlfriend from season one. Monica begins dating Richard (Tom Selleck), a recently divorced family friend and 21 years her senior. In the season finale, they end their relationship when they realize that unlike Monica, Richard does not want children.
The One Where Joey Moves Out - S2E16
Chandler and Joey attend a party thrown by one of the other actors on Days of Our Lives. He happens to be moving out, so he offers to let Joey have his apartment. Having never lived alone, Joey decides to take him up on it, which disheartens Chandler. Phoebe and Rachel decide to get tattoos; their decision is complicated by the facts that Ross doesn't like tattoos and Phoebe doesn't like needles. Ross, Monica, and Richard go to Jack Geller's birthday party. Everyone is buzzing with rumors of Richard's young new girlfriend (also known as his "twinkie in the city"). Monica hides in the bathtub; her parents come into the bathroom and fool around. Later, Monica reveals her relationship with Richard to her parents.
Joey: He and Chandler are getting a fight about him not ever lived alone and making enough money when being on Days Of Our Lives. He and Chandler are going to a brunch of a co-worker of Joey and he decides to move out and live there.
Chandler: He has a fight with Joey. He's having a really hard time when Joey moves out.

Rachel: She and Phoebe are getting a tattoo, but she is scared. Phoebe convinces her to do it and not listen to Ross. She gets a heart on her groin.
Monica: She and Ross are going to their dad's birthday. She, her mom and her moms friend are in the kitchen. The two older ladies are gossiping about Richard having a twinky in the city.
Later she's in the bathroom discussing with Richard to tell her parents about them. She hides when Richard walks out and her mother and after her, her father come in. Jack tells Judy that he never saw Richard this happy. But then she gets the liveshow of the same as she saw on a video in the episode The One With The Prom Video.
Phoebe: She wants a tattoo as well. She wants a lily on her shoulder because her mother's name was Lily. She's finally in the chair and runs away when there's a dot on her shoulder. That's exactly what she wanted. It's the world seen from a great great distance. Like her mother sees her.

Phoebe helps Monica cater a party at the home of Dr. Richard Burke, an old friend of the Gellers, who recently divorced. Despite their age difference, Richard and Monica begin dating. Ross and Rachel begin dating. One of their dates is interrupted when Ross is paged to the museum. By the time he's done with work, their plans are ruined, so they spend the night together in the museum. Joey and Chandler watch Beavis and Butthead.
Joey: He and Chandler just sit in their apartment watching the new big screen TV and ordering pizza, but let it deliver at Rachel and Monica's.

Rachel: She forgot she had to waitress for Monica who's catering for a friend of her parents. Namely Richard Burk. After getting home after their first date Rachel can't help but laughing when she and Ross are crossing a line. The second date is not so funny.
Monica: She's getting a crush for Richard and the day after the catering she has an eyeappointment (Richard is an ophthalmologist) they start dating.
She and Richard find out that he's a bit older. He has a daughter Michell who's pregnant for the second time. Her son Henry is almost two.
Phoebe: She waitresses for Monica instead of Rachel.
When seeing Xanadu she's one of us (Joey and Chandler).

The One With The Prom Video - S2E14
Joey, now earning money, gives Chandler an expensive (and gaudy) gold bracelet. Joey is hurt when he finds out Chandler doesn't like it. Monica has a job interview with a restaurant manager who has a salad fetish. Rachel's starting to date again, which prompts Ross to interfere... until she makes it clear that they are never going to get together. Phoebe shares her "lobster" theory. Jack and Judy Geller come by to drop off some of Monica's things; they're turning her room into a gym. Monica tells them about losing her job, but she just can't get the courage to ask them for money. Amongst Monica's items from home is a video of herself and Rachel preparing for their Senior Prom. Rachel's pre-surgery nose, Monica's large stature, and Ross' "Mr. Kotter" look are featured. In the video, Rachel's date doesn't show up and she's distraught about having to miss her own Prom. Ross prepares to take her, but just before this is revealed, Rachel's date shows up. Rachel, watching the video for the first time, is so moved by Ross' compassion for her that she forgives him for "the list" and kisses him passionately. Monica discovers some unexpected footage of her parents at the end of the video tape.
Joey: He gives Chandler a golden bracelet to thank him for always being there when he had a difficult time making money. But as he is on Days of Our Lives he can pay Chandler back.
He's mad at Chandler when he finds out he doesn't like the bracelet and makes fun of it. They're friends again when Chandler gives him the second bracelet.
Chandler: He doesn't like the bracelet because it repels women (Gail), but he loses it and then buys a new one to replace it. Then Rachel finds the bracelet and he tries to make it up with Joey by giving him the other one.
Ross: He's still in love with Rachel, but he's taking messages from Casey, a guy she met at the movies. He's really jealous when Rachel talks to a guy. She's mad at him because he scares him away.
He loans money to Monica because their parents think she has some savings.
Rachel: She hears from Monica's father Jack that her parents were never happy. Especially after the incident in Hawaii.
She thinks it's really sweet what Ross wanted to do (on the video) and kisses him.
Monica: She is looking for a job as a chef, but she has a terrible interview because the manager talks dirty. Her parents change her room to a gym and bring some stuff over. Not Rosses room because of the trophees.
She wants to borrow money from her parents, but her dad says she should put away 10% of her paycheck for the difficult times.
They find a video where Rachel and Monica are getting ready for the prom. Chip (Rachel's date) was late. And Ross wanted to go with her to comfort her. But then Chip shows up and Ross is broken. She went to the prom with Roy Gublic.
She watches another video and by accident see a scene where her mom and dad... you know.
Phoebe: She's convinced that Ross and Rachel will get together. She's right in the end.

New Necklace: TCB Female Necklace
This necklace was on my to do list from the beginning and I am really glad I got to finish it on time.
It's the famous necklaces of the famous logo TCB Elvis used. I know it's TLC for the ladies, but I made a TCB necklaces for them.

New Food: Elvis' Record cupcake
This is a cupcake I wanted to make for a very long time, but with this Elvis Project I thought it was the right time to create it.

As this is cloned from layer cake there is a chance that your sims role a new want: "eating/preparing ... “Name of cupcake" like they role a want for the layer cake.
One issue
The plate won't be empty when the cupcake has been eaten. This is an error I can't help because I cloned this from the mesh Exnem made and I don't know how to change it.
Poly counts
Ingredients Tray is 722.
Prep State is 1,334.
Serving Size is 2,338.
Single Serve and Plate is 543.
FAQ
Can you create a food item for me?
Yes, I can. but just remember I don't create new meshes. So recoloring is possible.
It depends on which food it is (preferably Maxis’), but it's probably not a problem to clone and recolor it.
Just ask and I'll let you know if I can do it or not.

New Idea: Jailhouse Rock
This is a new idea to play based on the movie Jailhouse Rock. It's told in my own words translated to how to play in the sims (I have The sims 2 in mind when writing this). So it's not exactly the same as the real Jailhouse Rock movie of Elvis Presley, but it's how I would play it.
Jailhouse Rock
A guy gets into fights a lot and has to go to prison (you can play this with the prison of simlogical).
In prison he learns to play guitar and he performs for his mates.
They have a lot of fun. They have a party (the Jailhouse Rock) and even the warden is in it.
After prison he tries to make a career with singing, performing and starring in movies.
On the set of a movie he meets a girl. He has a fight with her about money but they get together again in the end.

New Clothing (Teen): Mid Sleeve Shirt Green Jailhouse Rock
Something I was really happy about when I was a teenager was when my mom came home with an Elvis t-shirt. It wasn't of Jailhouse Rock, but I really liked these pictures for t-shirt for my female teen sims. So I created these for the Elvis Project 2017.

New Clothing (Toddler): Bib Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear
There's a theme at MTS at the moment about Maternity and Beyond. As I have this month my Theme Elvis Project 2017, I thought it would be nice to combine them.

My Tribute to The King
Today it's exactly 40 years ago that Elvis Presley, the King of Rock 'n' Roll, died at Graceland.
As a tribute to the King I'm not giving you a new creation today but a poem I wrote years ago inspired by the way you write a limerick (what I was learning at the time).

New Food: Peanut Butter Ice Cream
I now have made an Elvis Peanut Butter Sandwich, but I can create more food with peanut butter than that.

After creating the fancy dress Short Dress Shoes - Gold Lame and Formal Long Loose Gold Lame Dress, I thought about what else in gold lame I could create. New Food: Peanut Butter Sandwich
Some of Elvis' favourite food was a peanut butter sandwich with banana, bacon and jam.
So that's exactly what this is.
It's basically cloned from the Sub Sandwiches from TheNinthWave. His policy allows that.

I already made some sub sandwiches and there are many more to come. It might be a nice idea to open a Sub Store in your game, but there are a few things you need to know then:
- The poly counts are quite high: be careful with putting a lot of sandwiches in your sub store especially when you have an older computer.
As this is cloned from lunch meat sandwiches there is a chance that your sims role a new want: "eating/preparing ... sub sandwich" like they role a want for the lunch meat sandwich.
There is a chance that when your fridge is full with fresh ingredients the sub sandwiches sparkle (as they are also made with vegetables and fresh ingredients).

One issue
When preparing a group meal the plate won't be empty when all the subs from the plate have been served. This is an error I can't help because I cloned this from lunch meat sandwich and the mesh TNW made. It also happens with the original sub sandwiches TNW made so I can't do nothing about it.

In the song Because of Love you can hear the lyrics "And life is sweet as cherry cream pie" so I thought something simple as a cherry cream pie can't be missed from the theme Elvis Project 2017 this month.

New Clothing: Short Dress Shoes - Gold Lame
One of Elvis' most famous suits is the Gold Lame Suit he wore on several shows from 1957-1961.
I can't make clothes for men (yet) for The Sims 2 so I went for the Short Dress Shoes in Gold Lame.
As I think this is a really fancy dress, I didn't make it everyday wear.

New Idea: You Gave Me A Mountain
In Elvis' songs there's nearly always a message. "And this will really tell a story, friends."
This idea to play in game is based on the song You Gave Me A Mountain written by Marty Robbins.
I hope you like to play this idea and think about Elvis' song while you do.

- His mother should die right after his birth.
- Because of the death of his mother, he has a bad relationship with his father.

- Overall he had a hard time growing up (red aspiration).
- Now his partner left him and he can't see his child anymore.
- It's the hardest time of his life.

New announcement: Elvis Project 2017
This month, on August 16th to be exact, it will be just 40 years ago the world stood still. Elvis Presley had passed away. Although I wasn't born at the time, I am a fan for 15 years now (exactly 15 years this year on August 16th) and I want to honor Elvis Presley for his wonderful talent and joy he gave us.
So every day of this month I will publish a creation, idea,... fot TS2 (maybe TS3 and TS4 too), to honor my favourite singer, The King Of Rock 'n Roll.

New Unmissable CC: Old Town Factory Apartments (No CC)
I saw this on ModtheSims and I thought this should be unmissable CC.

The apartments are quite expensive I think, but I really like the idea of the Old Town Factory Apartments. Especially because there's no extra CC included. Extra CC in lots are always floating in my downloadfolder because it doesn't really have a name (except for some undisclosed letres and numbers) and often different lots have the same CC (like walls or floors) and then you really don't know what you have double and you're afraid to delete something because you don't want your game to become corrupted.
So I'm so glad to find these nice apartments to be CC free.
