New Idea: Friends - The One With Chandler's Work Laugh - S5E12

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the six main characters of Friends in that certain episode. SPOILER You can then play this in the game as you wish. The season features Monica and Chandler trying to keep their new relationship a secret from their friends. Phoebe gives birth to triplets in the show's 100th episode. She gives birth to a boy, Frank Jr. Jr., and two girls: Leslie and Chandler. Emily states that the only condition in which she would remain married to Ross is if he stops all communication with Rachel. Ross agrees, but during a last dinner with all six main characters together, Emily phones Ross and, upon discovering Rachel is there, realizes she does not trust him, which ends the marriage. Phoebe begins a relationship with a police officer, Gary (Michael Rapaport), after finding his badge and using it as her own. Monica and Chandler go public with their relationship, to the surprise and happiness of their friends. They decide to get married on a trip to Las Vegas, but, change their plans after witnessing Ross and Rachel drunkenly stumble out of the wedding chapel. The One With Chandler's Work Laugh - S5E12 Rachel tries to learn more about Chandler and Monica's relationship; when Rachel confronts her, Monica makes up some pretty lame lies to cover it up. Ross finds out Emily is engaged to be married again; he goes out on the town and somehow hooks up with Janice. Their relationship starts out great, but soon Janice can't stand Ross's constant whining and she breaks it off. Chandler takes Monica to a work party, as well as some outings with Chandler's boss and his wife; Monica learns that 'Work Chandler' is a suck-up with an exaggerated laugh. Phoebe and Joey race birds. Rachel She wants to have a long lunch with her good friend Monica. She tries to make her say she and Chandler are together. She tells Monica she went out with James Farrow even though she new Monica liked him. She tells her because she hopes then Monica will tell about Chandler. Monica keeps lying to Rachel about working late while she's at Chandler's bedroom. (Joey goes to Rachel because Monica and Chandler are there.) She goes to Chandler's bedroom but then overhears Monica saying she hates it to have to lie to Rachel because they're not ready yet to tell even though Rachel is her best friend. Then Rachel understands and leaves it be. Monica Everyone at Chandler's work loves Monica. They even like Chandler better especially after they have met Joey. Chandler asks her to let his boss and his wife win one game. But Monica is really competitive. She doesn't like it that Chandler let's them win. She hates it that Chandler acts so different around his boss. She says to Chandler at the dinner with his boss and his wife, Kara, that she won't join him for workrelated things anymore. She can't stand the fact that Chandler acts like a work weasel around his boss. Phoebe She and Joey have a contest with the chick and duck as contestants. The first one who gets the nutter butter wins. Joey is judge... and wins. Joey He and Phoebe go to the movies. Ross stays at home. He likes to be alone. Chandler Monica and he are at a party of his work (they had a lot of liquor leftover from the Christmasparty). Chandler laughs at his boss's jokes with a weird 'work'laugh. Monica needs one too to 'survive' the party. Doug (Chandler's boss) wants to go play tennis with him and Monica. After what Monica tells him at the dinner party with his boss he stops laughing at his boss's jokes. She makes it clear he can still laugh at his boss's jokes. Ross Emily is getting married again. He's still mad at her though he follows an anger management class. Ross went out and stayed away a long time. Everyone is worried. He met hooked up with Janice. They get along and have a few days, but she breaks up with him because he's to whiny. He apologise to Chandler because he had a thing with Janice. Chandler laughs at first until he realises he's doing wrong too by sleeping with Monica. New Idea: TBBT - The Jerusalem Duality - S1E12

After being a (crazy) Friends-fan for nearly 2 decades I started to like The Big Bang Theory too (maybe because the end of the series has been announced). Anyway I want to do for The Big Bang Theory what I did for Friends. I don't know the episodes of The Big Bang Theory (TBBT) as by heart as I know Friends-episodes, but I am planning to also create careers, food,... from the show as I am doing/ did for Friends. In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of The Big Bang Theory in that certain episode. SPOILER You can then play this in the game as you wish. General happenings season 1: The lives of physicists Dr. Leonard Hofstadter and Dr. Sheldon Cooper are shaken up when an attractive young aspiring actress from Omaha, Nebraska named Penny moves into the apartment across the hall from theirs. Leonard begins to become hopelessly enamored of Penny, while she feels only platonic affection for him; as a result, she finds herself putting up with his closest and ever-present friends: his roommate, Sheldon, who appears borderline obsessive-compulsive; engineering whiz Howard Wolowitz, a desperately sex-crazed mama's boy who thinks that his 1960s-style clothing and hairstyle give him an air of cool hipness; and Dr. Rajesh "Raj" Koothrappali, who will not speak to her as he is too shy to talk to women (a case of selective mutism), unless intoxicated in which case he becomes a smooth talking yet highly overly aggressive womanizing flirt. The Jerusalem Duality - S1E12 Sheldon becomes envious when he meets 15-year-old child prodigy Dennis Kim, who was accepted for doctoral studies at the university, and soon realizes that not only is Kim similar to himself (an obnoxious and arrogant child prodigy), but is even smarter than he. Sheldon loses faith in his own research and annoys his friends by criticizing their work more than ever and forcing his own contributions on them. Finding his physics work useless, he aims for the Nobel Peace Prize by attempting to solve all Middle East conflicts, but he annoys everyone, including a Jewish professor, with his proposal that an exact duplicate of Jerusalem be built in the Mexican desert. The others, tired of Sheldon's behavior, decide to distract Kim with girls of the same age. Their plan unexpectedly works at Kim's welcome party, and Kim leaves with a blonde 15-year-old. Sheldon resumes his research while the others are perplexed at how easily Kim was able to get a girl. In a park, the guys spot him drinking heavily and making out. They feel sorry at his demise, but the victorious Sheldon mocks him. Sheldon He is jealous of wonderchild Dennis Kim. He's not the youngest who won the Stevenson award anymore. He and Leonard need to give Dennis a tour in the University so Dennis would choose it to study. It doesn't start well because Dennis insults the stringtheory Sheldon is working on. He feels defeated. As his friends keep sending him away he wants to try to get the Nobelprice for peace instead of physics. Leonard Sheldon wants to work with Leonard because his work has been proven pointless. Howard After been send away by Leonard, Sheldon wants to work with Howard. The guys want to get rid of Dennis to help Sheldon. There's a welcomingparty for Dennis and they arrange it that the daughters (age 14-16) of their co-workers can come to work. They hope Dennis will fall for a girl and leave Sheldon alone. Rajesh Also Raj sends Sheldon away.

The Pancake Batter Anomaly - S1E11 Penny returns from visiting family in Nebraska, but mentions while picking up mail from Leonard that most of her relatives became sick. Sheldon, a germophobe according to Leonard, freaks out and becomes sick, becoming demanding on top of his already obnoxious personality. Familiar with Sheldon being sick, Leonard and the guys hide from him at a Planet of the Apes series marathon, leaving Penny to care for Sheldon. However, Leonard breaks his glasses in the cinema and has to retrieve his spare pair from the apartment, piloted by Howard and Raj using a laptop, an endoscope, and a Bluetooth helmet camera worn by the short-sighted Leonard. Penny intercepts him and abandons him to his fate with Sheldon. Leonard tries to escape, but runs into a wall and nearly knocks himself out. In the end, injured Leonard and sick Sheldon sit miserably on the couch. Sheldon He and Leonard are playing 3D-chess. Leonard loses every time. Sheldon freaks out about the fact everyone got sick in Nebraska where Penny came back from. The next day (Sunday at 6:30) Sheldon is sick. Leonard leaves and starts warning his friends to follow the protocol. Leonard The protocol on Sheldon getting sick is staying low for the next 18 to 24 hours. Howard suggests a Planet of The Apes - marathon. During the marathon he loses his glasses and they break. He need his spare ones, but they are at home. He needs to go in there and put a sensor in front of Sheldon's room so they know when he gets out of bed. He gets caught by Penny who betrays him to Sheldon who wants grilled cheese. Leonard tries to run without classes and hits his head. Penny She came back from Nebraska. It was better than North Dakota. It wasn't that good. Everyone got sick and Sheldon freaks out. Sheldon wants soup so he goes to the Cheesecake Factory. Penny calls Leonard, but he can't come get Sheldon.Penny takes Sheldon home, but he wants her to take care of him. She won't forgive Leonard fast. Howard He goes to the Planet of The Apes - Marathon with Leonard to avoid Sheldon. Rajesh He goes to the Planet of The Apes - Marathon with Leonard to avoid Sheldon.

The Loobenfeld Decay - S1E10 Penny is given a part in the musical Rent, but after Leonard and Sheldon hear her off-key singing (Sheldon commenting, "if cats could sing, they'd hate it too"), Leonard lies to avoid having to see her perform and hurt her feelings. Sheldon, worried that Leonard's lie was inadequate, devises an intricate lie about his nonexistent drug-addicted cousin "Leopold Houston" needing an intervention the night of the play). Sheldon is so obsessed with his lie's credibility that he has Toby Loobenfeld, a research assistant who double majored in Physics and Theatre, impersonate cousin "Leo" to convince Penny the lie is true. In the end, Leonard must still see the video of Penny's performance, and Penny and "Leo" start flirting. Sheldon He and Leonard went for some chicken and are discussing the terminator trilogy. He feels terrible about Leonard lying because Penny might see through it. So he tells her Leonard lied to protect him from shame because his cousin Lee needs to go to rehab. Even after "the symposium" he's still worried about the lie. So He finds someone who wants to act as cousin Leo to be more convincing. But he's a bit overacting not following the profile Sheldon described. He starts flirting with Penny. Leonard He lied to Penny about the symposium. Leonard feels bad about the lie Sheldon tells Penny because she now thinks so high of him. He still needs to see a video of Penny singing and now she can see his reaction. Penny She's really happy because the audition she didn't get (workshopproduction of Rent) is now for her because the one chosen to play Mimi dropped out. It's not a big deal, just a one night showcase, but they invite a lot of agents so you never know. She asks the Sheldon and Leonard to come, but they say they are attending a symposium. She's touched that Leonard would help a friend like Sheldon. She feels bad that Howard is mad so she tells all the guys that she knows about the drugintervention of Sheldon's cousin Leo. Howard He would have loved to go to the (fake) symposium with Leonard and Sheldon so now he's mad at Leonard (for a lie). Leonard tells him and Raj that there's no intervention in Long Beach. It was all a lie. They decide to go to Long Beach anyway because The Queen Mary (boat) is lying there. It's now a hotel and a restaurant with a quite good Murder Mystery Dinner. Rajesh Nothing much happens to him.
