New FAQ: Why is your custom content no longer on ModTheSims?

It are the rules to upload that I not all agree to. Over the last few years they changed a lot and they use two measurements. They once asked me to changes almost 300 previous uploads because they would do it differently. And recently the guidelines and rules about policy of other creators made clear to me that they don't respect mine and I just feel like I need to be in control again of the things I create. After 11 years of creating, I have my own style and at MTS I cannot be trueful to that.

Another example on how MTS controls other's stuff when uploading it there: It's not possible to delete the food I uploaded there. That's really one of the reason why I know it was the correct decission to leave.

There are many more reasons but as example it's not even up to the creator how a screenshot is made when uploading, how many you make or what you write in the description. The uploading system has become so complicated that it takes longer to figure it out and upload a creation for them than to actually create it. And MTS says that if I don't agree to one of the rules and guidelines I should move my stuff elsewhere. So I do now. I am still going to be on MTS, just not my stuff. That will be moved to my blog/simblr..."
I am not the first creator who leaves there. I think it's time for me to move on as well.

New Tutorial: How to turn a sim into a servo

A servo always looks like a robot. Even with a default replacement it still looks like a robot. Mr. Data, a character of Star Trek: The Next Generation is the inspiration to make this tutorial. It's possible to create a sim, which will look like you've created it, it can be even a premade, and turn it into a servo. In that case there will also be no cost for buying the servo. New Idea: W817 - S02E17

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of W817 ((W"eight" = Wait) Dutch: Wait A Second) in that certain episode. It's a Flemish show that can be best compared with Friends. I call it "The Flemish Friends". I do this because it's mainly about a group of students in college and so with these episode ideas we have something new to play for our sims in college. Or you can play this in the game as you wish. I know W817 maybe even better by heart than Friends (that's saying something). Also like Friends this series was made at the end of the ninties, begin nillies so this is actually very suitable for The Sims 2 as there were no smartphones or internet like we know now. Jasmin tries to convince him to go because her father goes more often. Bridget She enjoys working for A.K.A and working in her own living room. Tom He doesn't know how to react when Zoe tells him Mickey is probably sero-positive. He's the one who tells everyone about Mickey's result. Zoe She and her boyfriend Mickey get the result of their Aidstest. Zoe is negative, but Mickey is asked to go to the doctor to discuss his results. Akke He's so into his work he doesn't realize right away the discussion is about something as serious as a friend who is sero-positive. He has working hours from 9 to 5 and thinks it's from 9am till 5am. As he's up this late Zoe comes downstairs in the middle of the night. She can't sleep because of the testresult of Mickey. She talks with Akke and feels a lot better. Jasmin She feels hat Steve is really boring since he broke up with Tony. Her father and his new girlfriend, Linda, are going out on a date so she has a meal for the microwave, but it burned as she has put it in the regular oven. Steve agrees she stays for dinner.
