New Review: Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2

Last week I went to the last movie of the Twilight Saga.
This is what I want to say about it (in short) that really caught my breath. You won't really be able to follow what I'm writing if you haven't seen it.
It's also a huge spoiler!


 

I only saw the first 3 movies. So I didn't see Breaking Dawn Part 1 when I saw the second part.
It wasn't that difficult to follow. I knew they would have a kid together. It's actually the same thing like in the other movies. It always ends in a fight. But this time it was crazy tensive.
I really thought when Alice showed the future to the Volturi that the fight was real. I was really suprised to see that Carisle died. All I could think of was, kill that bastard!
But then still Carisle would be dead and so many others in the meantime too.
Unbelievable what a tension there was during the fight and what a relief when it appeared it was just a vision.
I guess Stephanie Meyer learned something from Harry Potter: Don't let a main character (or someone close to them) die!

Lientebollemeis asked me to convert some of her Sims 2 careers and I was very happy to do that! So this is one of her careers, Rock Star!
It was requested for Sims 2 by draamaqueen.
You find here a conversion for the Sims 3. So any additional texts, info etc are by me, but the original idea is from Lientebollemeis and draamaqueen.

Here is the full information for the career for Sims 3. The career has 10 levels and is located at the Theatre. It has one custom tone, Practise Music, which builds the Guitar, Bass, Drums and Piano skills. Only the base game is required, although Late Night is needed for the Bass, Drums and Piano skills to gain.

Technical Stuff:

This career was made with patch 1.42 and should work with all lower patches. It requires the Base Game and should work with any other combination of expansion and stuff packs. It works in my game but if you have problems, let me know :)

Translating

Since I'm not fluent in any language other than English, the career is only written in the one language. So if you're interested in translating, download the Language Strings file and open it in Notepad.

New with Music: Elvis Inducted into Memphis Music Hall of Fame

	Elvis Presley, among other Memphis music greats, were inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame Thursday evening during a musical tribute held at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis. According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Priscilla Presley accepted on behalf of Elvis and noted that Elvis' musical influences included several of his fellow inductees. "I know he would be humbled and pleased to be included in standing with them tonight at this inaugural event," said Priscilla in a video message presented during the ceremony. Memphis is often known as the cradle for legendary musicians in blues, soul, and rock 'n' roll. Sponsored by the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, the ceremony consisted of 25 inductees who maintained strong ties to the Memphis community and were pioneers in the music industry. Other Memphians honored were Sun Studio founder Sam Phillips, DJ Dewey Phillips, blues legends B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, and Isaac Hayes, among many others.

Photography Career ~ Love taking photos of anything and everything, from that vase of flowers in the hallway, to your best friend dancing drunkenly at the pub last night? Maybe you’ve even had aspirations to become a wedding photographer, or even simply to be paid for the time and effort involved in each photo. This is the career path for you!

1. Amateur ~ You just take photo’s for fun and let some friends come over to pose, but you don’t mean anything in the photographers’ world.

2. Photographer's Assistant ~ Working as an Assistant Photographer is one of the best routes into a career in professional photography. Assistant Photographers must be prepared to do whatever is necessary to ensure that a photographic shoot runs smoothly. This typically involves preparing sets, checking that all equipment is functioning properly, setting up lighting and accessories, taking meter readings, transmitting files and transporting film or prints to and from laboratories.

Advertising and Editorial Photographer ~ For photographers who enjoy travel, meeting creative people and solving visual challenges, a career in Advertising and Editorial Photography is a highly attractive prospect. Advertising and Editorial Photographers produce seductive images that are used to support or demonstrate a marketing idea in answer to a photographic brief given to them by a client, a designer or an advertising agency. The photographs are used to help describe and sell a product or idea, and are usually accompanied by a short phrase or strap-line.

5. Press Photographer ~ Press Photographers produce photographs of current events, and the people involved in them, on a daily basis, for national or local newspapers, news magazines and press agencies. Images are invariably shot on location, using hand-held digital cameras with a portable electronic flash, with the photographer also carrying a laptop and a mobile phone so that they can download images directly to the picture desk.

6. Medical Photographer ~ Medical Photographers record the work of healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics, as well as producing detailed images of patients' injuries and diseases for use in treatment and education. The work requires a dedication and care that is not always necessary in other less objective - and less sensitive - areas of photography.

7. Forensic Photographer for NCIS ~ While it may not always be quite as glamorous as depicted on TV, forensic photography is still a fascinating area of work suitable to highly organised photographers who combine excellent technical skills with a methodical and meticulous working practice. Forensic Photographers produce a permanent visual record of the scenes of accidents and crime scenes for use as evidence in court. They must be able to produce detailed recordings of all the available evidence at the scene, including overview photographs as well as accurate images of tire marks, fingerprints, footprints, blood spatters, bullet holes and other unique evidence at the scene.

8. Unit Stills Photographer ~ Unit Stills Photographers take the vitally important photographs of film sets or studio shoots that are used to create the press and publicity for feature films.
