New Idea: W817 - S5E06

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of W817 ((W"eight" = Wait) Dutch: Wait A Second) in that certain episode. It's a Flemish show that can be best compared with Friends. I call it "The Flemish Friends". I do this because it's mainly about a group of students in college and so with these episode ideas we have something new to play for our sims in college. Or you can play this in the game as you wish. I know W817 maybe even better by heart than Friends (that's saying something). Also like Friends this series was made at the end of the ninties, begin nillies so this is actually very suitable for The Sims 2 as there were no smartphones or internet like we know now. There are no seperate seasons and episodes don't have a title. There are 131 episodes and I will number them accordingly. Bridget There's a mouse in her apartment of which she is really scared. She asks Steve for help, but when she sees the mouse she thinks it's cute and should not be killed. Tom He is surprised he failed an exam while Jasmin passed as they cheated and filled out the same answers. Zoe She should be in Urk instead of home. Her professor comes over for an explanation. She says a friend of hers needed psycjological help. Her professor is sceptical. She asks Akke to act to have psychological issues to cover up her lie. She pushes it as far as Akke is taken to a psychiatric clinic. Her professor never believed him in the first place. Akke He helps Zoe by acting he needs psychological help. It brings back old memories for him as he acts a bit too well. Though the professor doesn't believe him. Jasmin Apparantly the professor's assistant has a crush on her and that's why she passed the exam while Tom failed it. He tells the professor they both cheated and they get a new chance to fill out the exam honestly. Carlo He begs Zoe to choose him to act like he needs psychological help instead of Akke, but she is really annoyed and want him to stop. She keeps saying no, but the professor wouldn't have believed him anyway. This is a dress made for Young Adult Females and Adult Female sims.
This is a recolor from the Short Dress Shoes of the Base Game.
The color is a palette made by me at www.colourlovers.com and is named Buttercup 2016 as it is one of the trendy colors of 2016.
The pattern is also found at www.colourlovers.com and is named Messy.

New book: Dune books by Frank Herbert

Today I present you 6 new books. This has been moved from MTS to SFS.

These books are new objects and no replacements.

You can find them in Hobbies -> Knowledge
They cost $250 each. To recolor them (in game) it always costs $15.

New investment: Horizontal Applehead

This is a recolor of the NCI - Sims Investment Certificates SIC1k made by d_dgjdhh
You'll need that mesh rarfile: SIC1k for this recolor to work: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=442406


I came to the idea because I want my sims to have more ways to invest and that object was ideal.
As this is a recolor it works completly the same way.
It'll cost $1000 and the value can decrease or increase randomly every day.

More information can be found in that thread.

The recolor is the painting Horizontal Applehead which already exists in the BaseGame as a regular painting with only a decorative function.
I don't like decorations a lot on the lots because they slow down the game, but now the painting has an investment function.

He asks Zoe to not let Gabriel in, but he is already waiting in Steve's room. Bridget She wakes up the first morning in her own apartment and the gang is already at the door. They bring chocolatines and decide to leave her alone with her breakfast. She moved out to have some rest, but some of the gang are coming over every other time. In the evening everyone comes over for a surprise (to Bridget) housewarmingparty. She is not amused by it. Tom He forgot to study for his economic exam. He and Jasmin decide to work together to cheat the test. Zoe She helps Steve how to break up with Gabriel. Akke He and Carlo bring Bridget a console gamecomputer, but she wants a bit of rest. Jasmin She studied the wrong course (law instead of economics) and decides with Tom to cheat. Carlo Nothing much happens.
