New Idea: Kotmadam

Kotmadam The "Kotmadam" is a Flemish Comedy series on Flanders television. It's about a couple who has never had any children. The wife owns a candy shop which she runs in a home business. They have 5 spare bedrooms and they rent those to college students in "Leuven". The man of the couple doesn't like to work and tries to do everything to get out of household work or other tiny jobs in the house. The woman is quite dominant, but her students and her little candy shop are everything to her. The students like to prank the couple or the man or the woman. It's a nice comedy show, but not the greatest... It is a nice idea though to play this concept in The Sims Games. For me it would be a lot of fun (if I have time to play some day) of course because I know the series. But it can be fun for anyone who wants to play University in a different way. New Idea: Friends With Benefits

Friends With Benefits Maybe someone already had this idea, but in my game I normally play quite normal relationships. Not that much of cheating even. But if you like some more excitement than just cheating, then why not try the concept of Friends with Benefits. It's just like it's said. Being friends, but sleep together too without any commitments. There's a movie called Friends With Benefits. I haven't seen it yet, but when I came across the title, I thought it was a nice idea for the game if you're out of ideas somehow. It can bring you back to the story of the game. New Idea: My Crazy Ex

Based on one episode of My Crazy Ex A few years before this all happens, a girls sleeps with the fiance of her sister on Christmas eve. Few years later she dates a guy for a few weeks and takes him to her family for the holidays. She invites a friend Todd and goes out on a drink with him so her boyfriend goes out with her sister and hangs out with her. The next day there's a party of an old highschool friend where she goes to without her boyfriend so he can hang out with her sister again. Then it appeared both things were set up so her the guy could hang out with her sister and they could become a couple. He was nothing more than a christmas present to make up for what happened a few years before. Now they are seperated and married someone else. The sister... started dating Todd.

New Idea: Nanny McPhee

IMPORTANT SPOILER ALERT This is a new idea to play in The Sims 2 (or other games) based on the movie Nanny McPhee. Nanny McPhee Based upon the story of Nanny McPhee, it might be an idea to let your sims have a nanny who is a (good) witch. That is surely possible if you just let the nanny live in the house (not calling the in game nanny). When doing this it might give you new ideas to play. Play the game a bit differently and make it more fun again.

New Idea: Sims Auction

A Sims Auction In the mind of a store sims can have an auction. It's a bit offline work, but you can decide which sim gets what and set a custom price for all objects off the auction. It's a bit in your own mind how you see an auction done in the game. You can let them sit towards a podium or at dinner tables and the tables around the room have the auction objects on them. Or just organise it as a regular store, but with custom prices and typicall auction objects. A sim can give all his auctionable objects to the store owner and see which one are sold (with custom price) at the end of the day. Then the store owner gives a check for that amount (minus the commission of course) to the sim. That's the way how I would play it. But it's just an idea. You can do it completly in your own style.

New Idea: Repairshop

When an object is broken, instead of calling the repairman, your sim can call another sim in town. If they have a bad relationship, so the sim doesn't want to come, you can summon the hood repairsim with the summoner of the insiminator. When the repairsim is on your lot, you can make him/her selectable with the insiminator. Let the sim repair the object and pay him/her with a check, wallet,... New Idea: Pieces of People

Pieces of People

The idea comes from a program on Flanders television. There are 4 experts on buying and selling expensive rare stuff for a lot of money. Then there is a seller who shows a rare item from his/her collection that he/she wants to sell. The 4 experts get a bit of info about the object from the seller and have some alone (the 4 together) with it to give some remarks to one another. Then the seller decides which expert to see first depending on the interest the experts showed. The seller goes to each expert individually and they discuss a price. If the seller rejects an offer he/she goes to the next room, but if the offer of the next expert is less, the seller can't go back to the previous expert so they need to think carefully. In the end they all come together again to tell if there was a deal, with whom and what the deal was. Also if an expert was not able to do an offer he/she can tell what the offer would have been.
I think this can be played (or give ideas to play) in The Sims 2 or another game. There are many ways to sell items from one sim to another like with a wallet, changing familyfunds,...

New Idea: TOC - All The Residents' Men - S2E12

This idea is based on my idea to analyse every Friends episode. In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of The Odd Couple in that certain episode. SPOILER You can then play this in the game as you wish. I don't know The Odd Couple as much by heart as Friends so I haven't written a main blogpost about it (yet). All The Residents' Men - S2E12 Felix and Oscar run against each other for President of the building tenants' association, but Oscar might be in over his head. Oscar They played football together, but they lost bad. He and Felix start a competition in becoming elected as president of the tenants board. After he won the election he gives away his place as president to Felix because the tenants complain about every little thijg. Oscar's campaign was about leaving the tenants alone, but they don't leave them alone. Felix The elderly woman at apartment 9 gives away her position as president of the Building Tenants Association. Felix is very eager to apply. But he has to win the election first. He's running campaign even rhough he's the only candidate. He wants to make a rule as president for not allowing smoking on the balcony. Oscar smokes his cigares on the balcony and they start a discussion which causes Oscar to be wanting to become president too.

New Idea: The Switch

IMPORTANT SPOILER ALERT This is a new idea to play in The Sims 2 (or other games) based on the movie The Switch.

The Switch De alleenstaande Kassie heeft een kinderwens en besluit deze, ondanks de bezwaren van haar neurotische beste vriend Wally, te realiseren via kunstmatige inseminatie. Het is de bedoeling dat de charmante Roland de donor zal zijn, maar tijdens het "inseminatiefeestje" wordt Wally zo dronken dat hij Rolands sperma per ongeluk verliest, waarna hij het door zijn eigen vervangt, zonder dit Kassie te vertellen. Kassie verhuist en jaren later komt ze terug. Ze ziet Wally terug en Wally ontmoet haar zoon. Hij herinnert zich niet meer wat hij op het "inseminatiefeestje" gedaan heeft, maar het is duidelijk dat het zijn zoon is. Na een tijdje heeft hij dit door en moet hij dit aan Kassie vertellen. Het eindigt allemaal goed doordat hij een koppel wordt met Kassie op het einde van de film.

New Idea: Rumor Has It

IMPORTANT SPOILER ALERT This is a new idea to play in The Sims 2 (or other games) based on the movie Rumor Has It.

Rumor Has It Sarah is a bridesmaid for her little sister's (Annie) wedding. She herself is engaged to her boyfriend, Jeff. Though she's not really sure she wants to marry. At the wedding she discovered that before her mother (who already passed away) had an affair right before she got married to Sarah's father, Earl, with an old schoolmate namely Beau Burroughs. The film The Graduate is based on a book written by Charles Webb who was also a schoolmate. Sarah thinks her family are the Robinsons. Beau Burroughs indeed had a fling with Sarah's mother and almost hit on Sarah too. But just in time Sarah discovered Beau had an affair with her grandmother (her mother's mother, Katherine) as well. Can you keep up to play this in The Sims ;) ?

New Idea: The Break-Up

IMPORTANT SPOILER ALERT This is a new idea to play in The Sims 2 (or other games) based on the movie The Break-Up.

THE BREAK-UP Brooke and Gary are living together in a great apartment. But at a family diner they realise they're too different from eachother. They decide to break-up, but neither of them wants to leave the apartment. So they still live there while they bring home a date and then the other one gets jealous and brings home a date too. They talk to their friends and family about it and so it becomes a battle of the sexes. Both feel there's still something left of some feelings for one another and for a moment it looked like they would get back together, but they know how it will end up again so they decide to sell the apartment and both to move out.

New Idea: Something Borrowed

This idea is based on a movie I saw so this might be a SPOILER!

!!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Rachel and Darcy are two best friends who know eachother since kindergarten. Rachel is a nice decent girl who wants a family, but she's 30 and doesn't even have a boyfriend. Darcy is really all about fun and is not a very good friend to Rachel (standing her up when going out, being into herself and losing eye on Rachel).
She met Dex in college (they study law) and they fall in love with eachother, but they don't know that about eachother.
A bit by accident (because Darcy thrust herself upon Rachel and Dex) Rachel introduces Dex to Darcy. Darcy wants Dex to ask out Rachel, but as she says they are only friends she dares to ask her (Darcy) out.
Dex and Darcy eventually are engaged, but then Dex and Rachel sleep together. They confess to eachother to have a crush on the other while in college.
They don't really know what to do.
In the end Darcy finds out about them because she goes to Rachel telling her the wedding is off while Dex is also there. Before Darcy finds out Dex is with Rachel she tells her she's pregnant with Marcus who had made a pass to Rachel.
On the sideline there's another friend Ethan who knows about Rachel and Dex the whole time and admits to Rachel he secretly has a crush on her.

I think this would be a great storyline to try to play in (any) The Sims Game.

New Idea: The Other Woman

IMPORTANT SPOILER ALERT

A little while ago I saw this movie called The Other Woman and it gave me the idea to play this in the sims. A man who's married has two mistresses and they and his wife find out about eachother, but instead of hating eachother they decide to have some revenge. Without him knowing the three women make his life miserable.

At the end they confront him.

I hope you like this idea to play in the sims.

New idea: Old And Dead Pet Farm

This might sound a little sad, but I think I will do this in my game.

I want to build a farm with a pet cemetry.

• You create a farm and a farmer family with room for a pet cemetry.
• When a pet is an elder and nearly ready to die, you send it to the farm
• Play the farm
• Summon the pet (with insiminator or something)
• Add the pet to the family (with insiminator or something)
• I don't know if the original family will have the memory of "my pet died", but this is something that parents let their children believe to comfort them of losing a pet.

I know it would comfort me if one of my pets die.

New Idea: Four in bed

Four in Bed (I don't know if it's translated correctly) is a TV-show in Belgium about four B&B owners who go to eachother's B&B and give marks for hygiene, hospitality, available trips, food and breakfast,...

Of course your sims don't really need to have a B&B to play this idea. You can just have a (regular) sleepover and give marks for that. The winner in the show gets a plaque of Four in Bed.
