New Announcement: No Ros Beiaard - New idea: W817

The Ros Beiaard of Dendermonde, Belgium is considered World Heritage. As I am an inhabitant of Dendermonde whole my life, I am quite sad (though I really understand) that the parade in May has been postponed with a year. The Ros Beiaard parade happens only once every ten years. People from all around the world come to Dendermonde just to see the parade. I wanted to create and publish 4 things about Ros Beiaard from 21 to 24th of May (the parade was 24th of May). So now I am going to postpone that too with a year. I will post another idea I had for a very long time. In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of W817 ((W"eight" = Wait) Dutch: Wait A Second) in that certain episode. It's a Flemish show that can be best compared with Friends. I call it "The Flemish Friends". I do this because it's mainly about a group of students in college and so with these episode ideas we have something new to play for our sims in college. Or you can play this in the game as you wish. I know W817 maybe even better by heart than Friends (that's saying something). Also like Friends this series was made at the end of the ninties, begin nillies so this is actually very suitable for The Sims 2 as there were no smartphones or internet like we know now. There are no seperate seasons and episodes don't have a title. There are 131 episodes and I will number them accordingly. Meet the characters Below you can find an overview of all the characters and their personality. Steve Together with Bridget he is a bit the leader of the gang. He is a convinced gay although Bridget wants to convince him otherwise. He's very just en he loves nature. He's the one who provides strict rules in the house and wants them to be lived at. He doesn't really have a job. All the girls love him, but unfortunatly he's gay. He's the ideal housekeeper because he's a really good cook and is very clean. Bridget She has a major crush on Steve, but she must give him up because he's a real gay. She tries a few times to convince him otherwise. She's very into her looks and fashion. She has many, but short, relationships. She studied economy, but wants to go into the marketing world. Eventually she realises she's not made for marketing. She starts working for AKA which is Akke and Carlo's company they had for a short time. Tom Tom's big dream is to become a writer. He studies literature and works from home to write a book. His creativity must be very high. He publishes the book and it turns out to be a big success.. But even as an adult he acts like a little child. He is very sloppy and if he were to live alone he would only survive on Cola and crisps, but he's not fat at all. He's convinced he's good looking and good with the ladies, but actually he's not. Zoe She studies psychology and is very good at it. She's a really party animal, but really panicky about her exames, although she always passes easily. She likes crips and Cola too, but just as Steve she takes better care of her health as the others. She has many many boyfriends (though mostly not at the same time). But she sometimes means it more seriously than you'd think. Akke He is mostly into computers and technology. He studies IT and gets the best marks. He cries about an 18/20. He's a real genious. Because he's a nerd, he doesn't have a lot of girlfriends. But when he does he is very serious about it. Jasmin She's the daughter of the Landlord, Alfons The Knight. She is just a teen when the series starts. In two years she goes to college too. She hangs out with the students a lot and unannounced. She loves to party like Zoe and loves to eat crisps and Cola. She doesn't get along too well with Bridget. She's really good friends with Zoe and Tom. She sees Steve as a parenting friend. She doesn't study a lot as she always hangs out with the students, but her schoolresults are allright if you keep that in consideration. Carlo He's Akke's best friend, but he's abusing Akke being naive and the goodness of his heart. Where you see Carlo, you see Akke and the other way around. He is crazy in love with Bridget, but she always say "no". Just like Akke he's totally into computers and technology and he also studies IT. He's crazy about all women (though they're not about him) and he would survive on crips and Cola if he were to live alone.
