Some time ago I found a lot of old recipes my mother collected over the years and as I am better at creating custom food for The Sims 2 than cooking the dishes myself, I decided to create them and share them with you. New investment: 32 Stock Certificates - Talent Badges

Ever since I have Open For Business I wanted to build a bank where the sims can do investments too.
I have found the NCI - Sims Investment Certificates by d_dgjdhh and I really think they are great, but I wanted some more variety.


Certificates idea
There are many kinds of firms people can invest in, but for the sims I chose the talent badges as these were intended to be the firms in the sims.
I already created a recolor of SIC1k, which was the painting Horizontal Applehead.
I think paintings are a good way to invest too, but these stock certificates are more suitable to be sold in a bank.

Althought these recolors have the same function as the NCI - certificates, I think they are great to use in game to let your sims have more ways to invest.

Certificates design
I used powerpoint to create a nice design for the certificate. I based it on a certificate I found using Google Images: http://img.docstoccdn.com/thumb/orig/18901.png
I also used the text on that certificate, but it is written in Simlish.
The certificates are completly in Simlish as these are stock certificates of Simlish firms.

Function
Its value changes every day (e.g.: +/-$49 for the $25,000 certificate which is about 0.2%)
It's also a good way to lose some cash hanging around.

New Idea: W817 - S4E18

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the main characters of W817 ((W"eight" = Wait) Dutch: Wait A Second) in that certain episode. It's a Flemish show that can be best compared with Friends. I call it "The Flemish Friends". I do this because it's mainly about a group of students in college and so with these episode ideas we have something new to play for our sims in college. Or you can play this in the game as you wish. I know W817 maybe even better by heart than Friends (that's saying something). Also like Friends this series was made at the end of the ninties, begin nillies so this is actually very suitable for The Sims 2 as there were no smartphones or internet like we know now. There are no seperate seasons and episodes don't have a title. There are 131 episodes and I will number them accordingly. Steve loves to cook and cooks vegetable soup, but no one wants it. Bridget She is bored and looks for excitement. She asks Kim if she can join her friends, but the agegap is very noticable. Tom His toast is blocked and he puts a fork in it. He gets electrocuted, but he survives. He thinks he is invincible. He tries to convince the others (mostly Steve) he is invincible.
