My Tribute to The King

Today it's exactly 40 years ago that Elvis Presley, the King of Rock 'n' Roll, died at Graceland.

As a tribute to the King I'm not giving you a new creation today but a poem I wrote years ago inspired by the way you write a limerick (what I was learning at the time).

There once was a boy in Memphis
You never guess, it was Elvis.
He was talented
He was cute
He is still the King absolute
He shook his hips
He thrilled us so
But then we had to let him go
We all miss you so, Elvis
