New Idea: Friends - The One With The Princess Leia Fantasy - S3E01

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the six main characters of Friends in that certain episode. SPOILER

General happenings season 3:
Season three takes on a significantly greater serialized format. Rachel begins working at Bloomingdale's, an upscale department store chain, and Ross becomes jealous of her colleague, Mark. Rachel decides to take a break; and Ross, hurt and drunk, sleeps with someone else, causing Rachel to break up with him. In the meantime, Chandler has a hard time dealing with their breakup because it reminds him of his parents' divorce. After believing she has no family except her twin sister Ursula (Lisa Kudrow), Phoebe becomes acquainted with her half-brother (Giovanni Ribisi) and birth mother (Teri Garr). Joey develops a relationship with his acting partner Kate (Dina Meyer), and Monica begins a relationship with millionaire Pete Becker (Jon Favreau) which ends because of disagreements between the two.

The One With The Princess Leia Fantasy - S3E01
Monica is dysfunctional because of her breakup with Richard. Joey can't stand having Janice around all the time; she invites him on a "day of fun" so they can get to know each other. Ross and Rachel talk about their fantasies; Rachel then tells Phoebe and Monica about Ross's Princess Leia fantasy. Phoebe and Mr. Gellar comfort Monica. Ross and Chandler share personal information, which leads to some unpleasant side effects for Ross.

Joey: He really dislikes Janice. It's a chemical thing. Although for Chandler he spends the day with Janice, but he still doesn't like her. He can be around her now at that was the whole point that he can still be around Chandler when he's with Janice.

Chandler: He's back together with Janice (who baked pancakes in the morning), but Joey doesn't like that. Chandler is very happy though. Janice is getting a divorce and has a kid by now. He wants to take Janice and Joey to a Rangers game, but Joey doesn't like her.

Ross:.He still works at the museum, but his paper has been published which is good for his career.

Rachel: She wants to know about Ross' sex fantasies. He tells her about princess Leia in Return of the Jedi. He is mad at her because she talked about it with Phoebe and Monica. She tells him to share something like that with his friends too. So he talks with Chandler who talks about his mother in bed. He ruins Ross' life.

Monica: She didn't sleep for 3 nights in a row because she cried over Richard. Phoebe tries to help her by bringing Monica to her happy place, but it doens't work. Monica's father, Jack, comes over and tells her Richard is a mess. That comforts her so much she falls asleep.

Phoebe: She helps Monica finding her happy place, but it doesn't work.
