New Idea: Friends - The One With Ross's Sandwich - S5E09

In general the idea is to give you one episode per blogpost. In every blogpost I'll shortly describe what happens with the six main characters of Friends in that certain episode. SPOILER You can then play this in the game as you wish. The season features Monica and Chandler trying to keep their new relationship a secret from their friends. Phoebe gives birth to triplets in the show's 100th episode. She gives birth to a boy, Frank Jr. Jr., and two girls: Leslie and Chandler. Emily states that the only condition in which she would remain married to Ross is if he stops all communication with Rachel. Ross agrees, but during a last dinner with all six main characters together, Emily phones Ross and, upon discovering Rachel is there, realizes she does not trust him, which ends the marriage. Phoebe begins a relationship with a police officer, Gary (Michael Rapaport), after finding his badge and using it as her own. Monica and Chandler go public with their relationship, to the surprise and happiness of their friends. They decide to get married on a trip to Las Vegas, but, change their plans after witnessing Ross and Rachel drunkenly stumble out of the wedding chapel. The One With Ross's Sandwich - S5E09 Joey lets himself look bad in order to explain away various discoveries that could expose Monica's and Chandler's relationship: underwear in Monica's sofa; a lady's razor in his shower; candlelight and videotape; a nude polaroid. He threatens to tell everyone the truth unless Chandler and Monica can come up with a story that makes him look good. They don't come through, so Joey creates a new lie: he slept with Monica in London and she's been after him ever since. Phoebe takes a literature class; Rachel decides to come with her, but doesn't bother to read the books. After Rachel steals her ideas in the first class, Phoebe feeds Rachel misinformation about the second book. Ross has a problem with rage after someone at work steals his Thanksgiving-leftovers sandwich. After scaring his co-workers, yelling at his boss, and getting upset at a psychiatrist, he gets put on tranquilizers. Rachel She didn't read any of those books of Phoebe's class because she just wanted to have fun. She humiliates Phoebe when stealing her answer and then Phoebe humiliates Rachel when she compares Jane Eyre with RoboCop. So Rachel suggests that Phoebe goes with Monica. Monica She makes a Thanksgiving sandwich for Ross with Thanksgiving leftovers. Her secret ingredient is a sandwichslice in between soaked in gravy. Ross calls it "The Moistmaker". Because the video didn't work out (Joey gave the couple a last chance and he'd better look good), Monica gives Chandler a picture of her naked. Phoebe She finds undies in the seat of Monica and Rachel. Rachel asks whose they are and Chandler quickly says it's got to be Joey's. She is reading Wuthering Heights because she's taking a literature class. Rachel goes with her, but she didn't read the discussed book. She asks Phoebe what it's about and then steals her answer. So Phoebe tells Rachel that Jane Eyre is about robots. She and Rachel discuss this incident and Phoebe says she hasn't finished high school and she wanted to learn something, but Rachel just wanted to have some fun and suggest to take Monica to the class. Monica is way too enthusiastic and people don't like her because she asks the teacher to give them a test. Phoebe tells the other classmates she doesn't know Monica. Joey He admits the undies are his. He says "I am Joey, I'm disgusting. I take my underpants off in other people's homes." He's tired covering for the couple. The day before Rachel finds Monica's razor in Joey's bathroom and then Joey said it was his. It end with him shaving his legs because he's playing a woman in this play "Ugly woman". The couple doesn't want everyone to know yet because they think their relationship goes so well just because it's a secret. He brings home a date while Monica and Chandler were at his place and a camera was ready to film. His date doesn't like the fact that Joey wanted to record them having sex. Rachel overhears Joey's date getting mad and again he has to say "I'm Joey, I'm disgusting. I make low-budget adult films." He finds the naked picture of Monica. Rachel sees this and gets mad while telling the others. Chandler After Joey finds Monica's naked picture he says he can explains it: Joey's a sex addict. Monica covers his story, but Joey says you can also explain it with the truth and he says he slept with Monica. It explains the underpants, the camera and the picture. Ross At work someone ate Ross's sandwich though he had left a note (which wasn't quite clear). That Thanksgiving leftover sandwich was the only thing good left in his life. He then asks Phoebe's help. She writes something really bad on the note that will keep Ross's co-workers from eating his sandwich. His co-workers start calling him "Mental Geller" because they are actually afraid of him. His boss talks to him about it, telling him they want Ross to go to a psychiatrist and it appears that his boss, Donald, ate Ross's sandwich. Ross gets really mad and has to go to a psychiatrist who gives him tranquillizers. He has to go on sabbatical.
