Last week I went to the last movie of the Twilight Saga.
This is what I want to say about it (in short) that really caught my breath. You won't really be able to follow what I'm writing if you haven't seen it.
It's also a huge spoiler!
I only saw the first 3 movies. So I didn't see Breaking Dawn Part 1 when I saw the second part.
It wasn't that difficult to follow. I knew they would have a kid together. It's actually the same thing like in the other movies. It always ends in a fight. But this time it was crazy tensive.
I really thought when Alice showed the future to the Volturi that the fight was real. I was really suprised to see that Carisle died. All I could think of was, kill that bastard!
But then still Carisle would be dead and so many others in the meantime too.
Unbelievable what a tension there was during the fight and what a relief when it appeared it was just a vision.
I guess Stephanie Meyer learned something from Harry Potter: Don't let a main character (or someone close to them) die!
Lientebollemeis asked me to convert some of her Sims 2 careers and I was very happy to do that! So this is one of her careers, Rock Star!
It was requested for Sims 2 by draamaqueen.
You find here a conversion for the Sims 3. So any additional texts, info etc are by me, but the original idea is from Lientebollemeis and draamaqueen.
Here is the full information for the career for Sims 3. The career has 10 levels and is located at the Theatre. It has one custom tone, Practise Music, which builds the Guitar, Bass, Drums and Piano skills. Only the base game is required, although Late Night is needed for the Bass, Drums and Piano skills to gain.
Technical Stuff:
This career was made with patch 1.42 and should work with all lower patches. It requires the Base Game and should work with any other combination of expansion and stuff packs. It works in my game but if you have problems, let me know :)

Elvis Presley, among other Memphis music greats, were inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame Thursday evening during a musical tribute held at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis. According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Priscilla Presley accepted on behalf of Elvis and noted that Elvis' musical influences included several of his fellow inductees.
"I know he would be humbled and pleased to be included in standing with them tonight at this inaugural event," said Priscilla in a video message presented during the ceremony.
Memphis is often known as the cradle for legendary musicians in blues, soul, and rock 'n' roll. Sponsored by the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, the ceremony consisted of 25 inductees who maintained strong ties to the Memphis community and were pioneers in the music industry. Other Memphians honored were Sun Studio founder Sam Phillips, DJ Dewey Phillips, blues legends B.B. King, Howlin' Wolf, and Isaac Hayes, among many others.

Career Levels Photography Career ~ Love taking photos of anything and everything, from that vase of flowers in the hallway, to your best friend dancing drunkenly at the pub last night? Maybe you’ve even had aspirations to become a wedding photographer, or even simply to be paid for the time and effort involved in each photo. This is the career path for you!
1. Amateur ~ You just take photo’s for fun and let some friends come over to pose, but you don’t mean anything in the photographers’ world. Wages: §10/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 5.00pm 2. Photographer's Assistant ~ Working as an Assistant Photographer is one of the best routes into a career in professional photography. Assistant Photographers must be prepared to do whatever is necessary to ensure that a photographic shoot runs smoothly. This typically involves preparing sets, checking that all equipment is functioning properly, setting up lighting and accessories, taking meter readings, transmitting files and transporting film or prints to and from laboratories. Wages: §18/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 5.00pm 3. Photographer ~ For photographers who enjoy travel, meeting creative people and solving visual challenges, a career in Advertising and Editorial Photography is a highly attractive prospect. Wages: §31/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 5.00pm 4. Advertising and Editorial Photographer ~ For photographers who enjoy travel, meeting creative people and solving visual challenges, a career in Advertising and Editorial Photography is a highly attractive prospect. Advertising and Editorial Photographers produce seductive images that are used to support or demonstrate a marketing idea in answer to a photographic brief given to them by a client, a designer or an advertising agency. The photographs are used to help describe and sell a product or idea, and are usually accompanied by a short phrase or strap-line. Wages: §43/hour Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 5.00pm 5. Press Photographer ~ Press Photographers produce photographs of current events, and the people involved in them, on a daily basis, for national or local newspapers, news magazines and press agencies. Images are invariably shot on location, using hand-held digital cameras with a portable electronic flash, with the photographer also carrying a laptop and a mobile phone so that they can download images directly to the picture desk. Wages: §71/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 4.00pm 6. Medical Photographer ~ Medical Photographers record the work of healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics, as well as producing detailed images of patients' injuries and diseases for use in treatment and education. The work requires a dedication and care that is not always necessary in other less objective - and less sensitive - areas of photography. Wages: §125/hour Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 3.00pm 7. Forensic Photographer for NCIS ~ While it may not always be quite as glamorous as depicted on TV, forensic photography is still a fascinating area of work suitable to highly organised photographers who combine excellent technical skills with a methodical and meticulous working practice. Forensic Photographers produce a permanent visual record of the scenes of accidents and crime scenes for use as evidence in court. They must be able to produce detailed recordings of all the available evidence at the scene, including overview photographs as well as accurate images of tire marks, fingerprints, footprints, blood spatters, bullet holes and other unique evidence at the scene. Wages: §166/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 3.00pm 8. Unit Stills Photographer ~ Unit Stills Photographers take the vitally important photographs of film sets or studio shoots that are used to create the press and publicity for feature films. Unit Stills Photographers usually work on set, recording scenes from the film; alternatively, they may be required to set up photographs in the style of the film in a studio environment. Wages: §400/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 2.00pm 9. Fashion Photographer ~ Fashion is one of the most vibrant and exhilarating areas of professional photography. It is the Fashion Photographer's job not only to photograph garments but also to interpret the underlying ideas and associations suggested by the season, the range of clothes, the designer or the design brand. Fashion Photographers work both in studios and on location to produce imaginative and eye-catching photographs that illustrate and advertise clothes, accessories and lifestyle. Wages: §700/hour Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 2.00pm 10. Super-Star Photographer ~ EVERYONE knows your name! All the stars in Hollywood want you to take their photos!!! In studios, on the Red Carpet, at Award Ceremonies, on the ramp and even on holiday. Wages: §1,000/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Work hours: 9.00am ~ 2.00pm

The way of requesting has changed a lot in the past 5 years.
From a simple form to fill out, which people can reach all the time, it's developed to an excelfile on Google Docs (not everyone has MS Office), which I provide from the moment the requester contacts me.
This way I have personal contact with the requester which makes it easier to help with the request. The requester needs to want the career enough to put some effort in it.
The way the file is build gives the requester the chance to see if the career is accepted or not. The file tells you that the request is accepted or not while you're filling it out.
The only reason why a request can be rejected (if the file says the request is accepted): is spelling and grammar.
The file can't check that by itself.
So I still check following things:
Spelling and grammar:
I read the descriptions very quickly. If I see just the onemistake, I stop looking further.
Punctuation (at the end of a sentence)
Do the sentences make any sense?
Apostrophe's (you are = you're; your = your)
No abbreviations (kinda, gonna,...)
Capital letter (Begin of sentence, countries,...)
Form of the sentence
Descriptions:
This is mostly based on MTS's rules. They reject careers for this:
Growth in the career
Creativity
No repetition (like the word now or you)
Length of description (at least 4 sentences, (long enough))
This is all found very clearly in the instructions on the file too. A Lot of requests have been accepted so there are people who dofollow the instructions correctly.
The form is made in such a way it's nearly impossible to have a reason for rejection. You need to check two main things. If these are good, the request is accepted and uploaded asap:
The first step is to determine whether the download folder exists. It should be in a folder called My Documents. Depending on which version of Windows you are running, it is either on your desktop or on your Start Menu.
In your My Documents folder should be a folder called "EA Games". If you click on it, there should be a folder inside called "Sims 2". Clicking on that brings up several more folders, but the one you are looking for is called "Downloads". This is where all of your custom content should go.
If you do not see the Downloads folder, it is easy to create: Simply click "File" and then "New". A submenu will come up. Click on "Folder". This will generate a new folder. Rename that folder "Downloads". Now you are ready to install your custom content.
File you'll need to use:Files ending in ".zip" need to be opened with an unzipper. Some versions of Windows already have one installed, but the older versions don't (older than XP). To open these folders, you will need a program called "Winzip". You can use google and find it on the internet.
Files ending in ".rar" need to be opened with a program like "WinAce" or "WinRAR". Again. google will help you find this program.
Files ending in ".package" should go to your downloads folder directly. These files are found in zips and rars. Sometimes these files are prepackaged in another type of file that ends in ".Sims2Pack". These files will have a different picture and if you click them, they will start a program to install your custom content for you. All you have to do is open the file, click the "Install" button, and then the "Done" button and you're all set. It puts it into the correct folder for you. Sims2Pack files
Unzip the files from the downloaded zipfile into the downloadfolder.
You'll see a Sims2pack file with the extension (e.g. .jpg, .docx,...) ".SIMS2PACK
Double click on that file.
Then just wait a while.
Then you'll see this window:
Click Install
You'll see the message: Custom Content was successfully installed! Start your game and you should see the house you've installed in the bin.

Update: 2024-02-28
This is a huge project which contains all Maxis' careers of The Sims 1, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 which are not available in The Sims 2 or its expansion packs.
An overview of the ones need to be made can be found in the corresponding folder.
Some notes:
- When a career was double I only created it once. E.g.: Paranormal in Sims 1 & 3 is exactly the same so then I only create it once (this is just an example. I don't know if it's true for Paranormal)
- It was hard to find good icons. I hope they're satisfactionary. I mostly use Maxis' icons, but older conversions might need an update.
--- I am planning to change these to the according Maxis' icons for the corresponding careers. Back in 2012 (and prior) they were not always available. - It's possible you see some careers twice (E.g. Entertainment). They have different descriptions, hours, wages,... So I consider them as different careers. And the prefix 1t2, 3t2 or 4t2 is normally added.
- I used this site for all information I needed: https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Career
-- If some information wasn't available, I added it myself. Since 2023 ChatGPT can really help with adding this missing information (less time consuming for me.)
