New babyoutfit: Uniform Star Trek Voyager

This time I tried something completly new to me.

On my blog you can already download clothes for YA and Adult females, but these are for babies.

Normally a baby has one outfit and the same one for every new born. (You can have default replacements but still all babies wear the same outfit.)

With this every baby can have a different outfit and you can change it as much as you like.

I chose Star Trek Voyager cause for the last couple of months I watched that series again and I really love the idea of babies wearing that uniform too.
I hope all you Star Trek fans like it.

Mesh
This is actually a recolor of the mesh made by Fakepeeps7.

Mod object
You'll need Chris Hatch's mod (http://bit.ly/1dobWoV) to use these clothes (otherwise, they won't show up and your baby will just wear a diaper if you don't have any other defaults installed). All outfits are unisex. The Pets EP or higher is required to use the mod.

How to USE Chris Hatch's Plan Baby Mod:
0. Purchase the Buy Baby Outfit teddy bear. There is to my knowledge no other way to buy baby clothes. Yet? Maybe 'yet.'

1. Have your parent Sim either hold their baby or put their baby on the floor. I haven't checked this with every possible combination of relatives, but an unrelated adult CANNOT get new clothes for a baby. Didn't think to check with teenagers. Somebody try it and report back?

2. With your parent Sim selected, click on the teddy bear and select "Buy Outfit For..." which should lead you to the names of all infants ant toddlers in the household. Click on a toddler's name.

3. A standard clothing-purchase window will pop up. DO NOT CLICK ANY AGE ICONS. Click on one of the gender icons instead. That's the only way to get to the baby clothes. Select and purchase baby clothes as you would normal clothes; they only cost $25 each so stock up. Hit the check-mark to buy clothes.

4. When the clothing purchase window closes, a plan outfit window will appear. So... plan your outfit.

5. If you forgot to plan your outfit, panicked and hit Close, or just want to change your baby's casual clothing for the season, buy one of the Maxis changing tables and have a parent Sim Plan Outfit For their baby as they would for a toddler.

New FAQ: What is PTO?

By default it takes a sim 7 working days before getting 1 day of paid vacation (PTO).

There is now a global mod for PTO3 and PTO5.

Click here to download the global mod for PTO3 or PTO5.

You don't need to redownload the career if you already had a PTO version I made before.

Don't hesitate to contact me when needed (sidebar on this blog).

New announcement: PTO - careers + updates

In the last few weeks I worked on the updates of the careers I made so far (about 200). I update the icon so it doesn't look weird when using another UI like the wooden one from Calidan you can see in the new screenshots I made. I want all the screenshots to be simular so I will update them too.

Then I also made some new versions of the existing careers. By default it takes a sim 7 working days before getting 1 day of paid vacation (PTO). I made a version to let it take 3 days (PTO3) and one where it takes 5 days (PTO5) before getting one day paid vacation. 

On my blog you can find the careers that were updated with PTO by pressing the label "Career - PTO" or by looking in the overview of all creations I ever made (http://bit.ly/1jEmkLT). When there is an "X" in the column "PTO", the career was updated on all sites where the career is available.

Let me know what you think of this PTO idea so all those hours of hard work were not in vain for me.

New Project: Realistic Ages 1 month

This is a project that I really like. I made it long ago, but now I think it's perfect enough to upload here.

I understand that there will be people who would like to see different spans for the different ages as I made.

The game always states the sim has lived 775 days when just being turned to an elder. My guess is that the game doesn't take the baby stage into account for some reason.

University (UNI needed):
Sims stay in University for ten months. That's 5 months per semester.
Within this project that's 120 hours per semester.

Pregnancy (OFB needed):

First trimester (impregnation to first morth): 25 hours (1 day and 1 hour)
Second trimester (first morth to second morth): 25 hours (1 day and 1 hour)

New creative activity: Add Chancecards

To make a career with chance cards or to add chance cards to an existing career, I need information.

I started to create a spreadsheet in Google Docs so the excelfile can actually be used online.

• You don't need MS Office anymore.
• You don't need to download anything.
• You don't need to send an e-mail with the excelfile.
• It's really easy and fast to fill it out if you already have your descriptions. 
• You just need to tell me the career title
• Facebook Messenger (sidebar of this blog)
• And I will give you the link to your personal Google spreadsheet request
• The link is for personal use only so I need to send you a PM or e-mail.

New ideas for new careers

Lately I want to challenge my own creativity and write careers myself. If I don't write about subjects that interest me, it will take a lot of time and research, but I really feel motivated to try and it might be fun learning new things and getting new interests.
Now I just need inspiration and I already know where to get some. Over the years that I accept requests, there were many requests rejected due to the badly written descriptions. I'm planning to rewrite those descriptions and upload the careers after that. (Something I already did with the career Out to Space). It will take a lot of time to do that with all of them. I'll start with careers that interest me the most of course, but I'm really looking forward to the result.

For now I have about 60 ideas to write career. But more are welcome!

If you have some more ideas to inspire me for writing careers myself, let me know in a comment.

I'll consider all topics for new careers, but I decide whether to write it or not and when.
Insisting on it won't change my mind. On the contrary.
Also asking when it will be ready won't do any good for when it will be ready.

Deadline for such ideas: There is none. I decide when and whether I create the career. You give me the idea. I decide what to do with it and when.
If you ask me when the career will be ready, I'll kindly inform you that you'll need to fill out the form so it will be ready within 2 months.
It's just an idea you give me. Not a request.

Doing a request yourself:
The excelfile is built with a minimum of instructions and they are way milder than ever before as they are much easier to follow.
If you don't have excel, you can still fill out the form that was used before (let me know). The instructions there are also way milder so the chance of rejection is nearly 0%.

New announcement: Overview all creations finished

I'm very happy to announce still in 2013 I finished the overview of all my creations so far and where to download them.
So in the fresh New Year 2014 I can start with updating all those creations with new and better taken screenshots, better icons for the careers and adding PTO.

I will also upload my creations to all the sites I upload too. Some of them are only available on S2I or on MTS or so and I want to make them available on all the uploadsites I use in the overview (just not TSR anymore).

It's an overview of what to download where. You can't download them all at once. That has no use as you need a mesh for some of them and you can't have more than one lifespan, pregnancyspan,... in your downloadfolder.
I might add a link to download the same kind of creations at once. E.g.: you can download all the bedding or all the careers at once. But I'm still working out how to make that work.

New announcement: Back on MTS

Since last summer I haven't been uploading on MTS. The rules were so strict that totally fine careers and other creations were rejected because it wasn't like the moderator wanted it to be personally.
Also the waiting before getting a response for the upload was not 3 to 4 days (like the guideline said), but to me at least one week and sometimes even a month and then sometimes getting a changes required.

Anyway now their rules haven't really changed, but the way they moderate has. There's a possibility of having a queue bypass and I'm really happy to say I have that bypass now.
If I'm not sure about an upload I can ask to moderate it and otherwise I just can upload to my heart's desire and see it in the downloadsection right away.

That doesn't mean that I don't care anymore about the quality of the creations and requests I make. On the contrary. It's actually still the same as before. If a request or creation of my own is good to my liking, but I don't think it's MTS quality, I might upload it, but ask a moderator to look at it or I won't upload it at all on MTS.
So there will be some creations that I don't upload on MTS, but I upload all my creations on my blog anyway.
But overall you can be sure that you'll see lots of my past creations and future creations on MTS any time soon.

New school: Boarding school + vacation

The notion behind this new schooltypes:
1. Kids and/or teenagers are nearly never home so no trouble with the nanny.
2. A school like Hogwarts. They only come home for the holidays.

They don't override eachother so one teen can have another shift then the other.
This is cloned from Inge Jones' flexischool and Inge Jones' Boardingschool. She gets all credit.
This is just a new interpretation and slight change of what she made.
People who don't have AL should download the BelowAL version.

The boarding school is cloned from Inge Jones' boardingchool and the vacation is cloned from Inge's Flexischool.

With Inge's mod the teenager is away from home from Mondaymorning till Fridayevening.
With my mod the teenager is away from home from Saturdaymorning till Fridayevening (they had to come home once to make it work).
The idea was to have a boardingschool like Hogwarts. They only come home during the holidays.

A child can be asigned to this boarding school/vacation as well as a teen.
If you don't want a child or a teen to attend this boarding school/have a vacation while the other is, than don't asign it.

They don't override eachother so one teen/kid can attend another school then the other.

New Tutorial: How to let a teen have an adult job

A lot has changed in the past ten years. There's a way easier method to give a teenager/ elder an adult job (or give an adult a teen/elder job).

1. Put the temporal adjustor somewhere.
2. Select your sim.
3. Press the temporal adjustor and choose the option "select age" and then "Independent teen"
4. Now the game "thinks" your sim is an adult, and will act as such, but he/she looks like a teen.
5. Give your selected sim the career you want for your teen.
6. Change the school of your teen: http://bit.ly/19b34KR
7. IMPORTANT: You must manually grow up your teen to an adult/young adult. If the independent teen grows up by the game, it will become an elder.

If you want a different job for your teen, you have to do this all over again.

Becoming an adult:

When the teen grows up having an adult career and he/she becomes an adult, he/she will keep the career as it was when he/she was a teen.

Becoming a young adult:

When the teen goes to college, he/she will keep the career, but it's not visible like it was with the combination school/career as a young adult does not have a career while in college.

2. Select your child or teen.

New skillspan: 28 hours instead of 1 hour

Normally (default) it takes 1 hour to gain a skillpoint.
With these mod it takes 2 or 6 or 28 hours to gain a skillpoint.
Only keep one in your downloadfolder!

New clocks: Charmed recolors of Llama Sports clock (EP FT)

I can't find any clock in game that I really like. So I decided to make some of my own. It's a picture of the Charmed icon Triquetra.
These are 8 recolors of the Free Time Llama Sports clock. No new object. Just recolors of the Maxis one.
