New idea: Adult careers with less than 10 levels

Currently I am working on a way for adult careers to have less than 10 levels. I think 5 levels is still the absolute minimum, but I understand 10 is really a lot especially when you have to write the career yourself.

So I have still no Internet at home, but you can request new stuff to keep me busy (I don't need Internet to create).

And now you can request careers with 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 levels.

No Internet, but still time to create

As you probably already noticed, I can't post much because I'm moving to a new place. Unfortunatly I have learned that I won't have access to the Internet (at home) until at least the second half of March. I'll do my best to post some things from my parents house, but I can't promise anything.
I do need Internet to upload new creations, but I don't need Internet to create and to accept requests.
So now is the time to request new things as I will have time to create so I have lots new uploads once I have Internet again.

Please, mail me with requests. I can still answer on my mobile.

New announcement: On a break for a few weeks

In real life I'm moving out of my apartment (that I rent) in a few weeks and moving into a house (that I bought).
So it are a very busy few weeks and I am really sorry to say that I don't have time to post on my blog every day (you probably already noticed that).
I hope I can start that again in March. In meantime, you can still request (although there are still some I need to do first).
I'll try to post a few new blogposts in February too, but I can't promise anything.

Introduction
With every sims game every player loves to play with a lifespan most suitable for his/her game. That's why kaichen04 requested this lifespan.
Short divides the lengths in half. Long doubles the lengths.

I understand that there will be people who would like to see different spans for the different ages as this one.

Unzip the archive and place the .package file in your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder.

2. - Make an empty folder named "unpackedmod" in /Mods
3. - In your resource.cfg, add the line

DirectoryFiles unpackedmod autoupdate

(i.e.: open that file in a text editor and add the line "DirectoryFiles unpackedmod autoupdate" (without quotes) underneath whatever other text it has.)

New FAQ: How to let a teen or elder have an adult job (and the other way around)?

This is way simpler than you'd think.
You just need a mod that a sim can change in age.
I use the insiminator to do that, but feel free to use another mod.

What you need first
The insiminator is found here: http://s2idownloads.blogspot.be/2010/05/other-mods-insiminator.html
Download the OBJ edition and use the hourglas to change your sims' ages.
The Job Board made by MogHughson will make it easier to find the career you want to give your sim: http://bit.ly/1gyed0N

Give your teen or elder an adult job:

• Make your teen or elder an adult.
• Find the adult career you want for your sim.
• Make your adult sim a teen (or elder) again.

Now your teen/elder has an adult career.

This also works the other way around


Give your adult sim a teen/elder job:

• Make your adult sim a teen again (or elder).
• Find the teen/elder career you want for your sim.
• Make your teen (elder) sim an adult again.

Now your adult sim has a teen/elder career.


Known issues
Of course such tweaking the game goes never "unpunished".
The issue I noticed is that when changing a sims' age, their face sometimes becomes blue. Let them change their appearance in the mirror (you don't need to change anything, just the dialogue needs to appear) and your sim has a normal face again.

TS4 New Aging Mod update: Realistic Ages 1 Month

This mod has been updated to the Toddler patch!

Introduction
With every sims game I love to play with the same lifespans. For The Sims 2 I found the ideal balance (for me that's Realistic Ages 1 Month). For Sims 3 you can change the lifespans as much as you want, so there's no need for a mod.
And now I'm so glad I can announce I made a mod for The Sims 4 realistic ages 1 month.
It has (for normal) the same lengths as my Realistic Ages 1 Month mod for The Sims 2.
Short divides the lengths in half. Long doubles the lengths.

Additional info
Originally my idea was to create a mod 3 in 1. So short would have been realistic ages 1 year, normal realistic ages 1 month and long realistic ages 1 day.
During the making of such a mod I noticed that the longest an age can be is 1548 days. So I decided to make 2 seperate mods (realistic ages 1 month and 1 year. So it appears it's not possible to create a mod realistic ages 1 day for sims 4.
